I absolutely love that part at the beginning where you explain why Harry can still speak with snakes. that has always bothered me about the end of the series

Oh man...where do I even start? I absolutely adored this story. I feel like there's so many wonderful things that I have to mention about it, so here goes!

I really loved your portrayal of Ron throughout this whole story. Almost all other fanfics I read (even wonderfully written ones) seem to portray Ron as either fly-off-the-handle angry when it comes to Draco or just idiotic altogether, which is so unlike him in the books. Your story seems to capture what he's really like, though, and what he would be like when he's older and more mature. I really enjoyed being able to see his strategic, planning side through the raid on Fitzwilliam, and his reaction to Harry's many announcements was pleasantly uneventful. I just enjoy seeing him written as what he is - Harry's best friend no matter what.

Second, Draco's portrayal - I love, love, love that he has all these quirks and OCD tendencies, which you represent wonderfully without overdoing it. He's perfectly snarky while still being lovable, and I adore him.

Having Lucius being crazy (I couldn't think of a nicer word) is also an interesting take on things. But, I really liked how it brought out a gentle side of Draco and Narcissa. Speaking of whom, I love (I'm using the word love a lot) your version of Narcissa. I think even in the books, at the end of the day she was always a mother first and that shows in your story. Too many fanfics show Lucius and Narcissa both as cold, distant parents that don't care about Draco - but really, they do, even if they show it in a different way than, say, Molly Weasley.

What else can I say...everything was just so well done and believable. When I first came upon your story and saw that it was epilogue compliant, I had my doubts. But you came through! I really enjoyed getting to see Harry's kids, and his relationship with Ginny. Again, a lot of fics portray Ginny as the bad guy or ends up with them hating each other or never getting together in the first place, but your version of her is wonderful. I'm so glad they were able to remain close friends after splitting up, and still support each other.

All in all, this was definitely one of my favorite stories and I can't sing your praises enough. Wonderful job :)

oh man, Christmas at the malfoys! no Thank you! plus, u do t think I could make it through a 7 course meal! lol! I loved the gift exchange, and the entire bit with Lucius and Harry singing at each other! this is so good I cannot wait to see how everything plays out. I'm getting very nervous for the end, though. how is Harry going to choose? or will he get to?

oh my gosh, these chapters are deliciously long, but life is getting I. the way and it's taking me so long to read that by the time I finish a chapter I can't remember how it started, LOL! I loved the Christmas stuff in this one! I loved that Harry and Ginny are still close in this place, and that draco, Harry, and the zabinis do Christmas charity. it's so sweet. and I adore Maura! I'm really loving this and cannot wait to see how Harry figures everything out! especially the damn woodworking! haha!

Oh god, why didn't I notice that this 14 chapter story has over 320K words! Ugh! no wonder I'm only on chapter 3, geez.

I kinda forgot to review because the story itself captured and held my attention. Your story is beautiful and perfect, because not everything is perfect. And because the love of a parent to his children in the end should always (in lack of a better word) trump personal comfort. The emotions in this feel so real. You should really consider writing professionally, because this story would work on its own, with changes of course. The character development, the moral and emotional conflics are multi-layered, highly complex and utterly human. Your story is inspiring without being overbearing. Believe me when I say that I payed good money to get worse literature.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm damn confused. LMAO. but maybe in a good way? I keep getting interrupted in reading and it's making it that much harder to follow along, lol. but I'm really liking it so far! the weasleys, FRED! and Harry and Draco's relationship, it's just all so good!

The possibility of having to choose between Lily Albus James Scorpius and adult misery on one hand v.s. Maura and general joy stabs my heart.
The kids are all gems. And in the new dimension, people are so happy. Do Rose and Hugo exist?

Hm. Nice idea but won't he want to go back to Lily, Albus, James? Well, I don't know the movie so I guess I'll see what happens, won't I?

Tbh, it was a bit cruel for me. I felt myself in Harry's shoes. I felt like crying. It was so confusing. But warm and nice at the same time.

But curious on hiw Harry was able to stay strong then again- the other dimension must have been what he really wanted.
He was comfortable by all changes - of course he was confused as well.

EEEP WHAT?! Im nervous and excited! How horrifying to realize that your children don't exist in this life, and that your wife is actually happy-without you! Gah! I loved the interaction with hermione and Ginny. And wtf old man? what the actual fuck is going on?! Ahhhh!
omg little Maura?! I LOVE that she knows! Gaaaaaaah! SO good! I think she's going to be rather helpful to Harry here! I cannot wait to see where this goes! How is this only chapter two!?
