It's 2:30 am and I have work tomorrow, bit I just couldn't set this down. Absolutely breathtaking. I love their honesty and openness. There is enough great believable drama in this story from the injury and Sherlock's inexperience and the threat of Moriaty, I am extremely grateful that you never added stupid misunderstandings but always had them find a way to talk it out right away. Wonderfully sensual. Sherlock is brilliant, but John is the emotionally experienced one, and they complement each other perfectly without losing their individual characters. Absolutely gripping and fascinating, beautiful developments. Thank you for writing and sharing!

This is mesmerizing. I love your scene cuts, also in the previous chapters, with those impossible statements from Sherlock... sweet sweet torture for John. Absolutely wonderful to read.

Wow, this is wonderful. Fascinating situation. I love the slow reveal of the intensity of John's feelings as we discover more and more of them, and how well you manage to write such medical scenes from a doctor's pov. And you had me laughing out loud at baked beans and rice puddimg - I'll cook whatever you identify is a brilliant idea!

Such a beautiful story!

When I read a story that has been done for a long time I normally refrain from gushing or Critiquing what ever aspect jumped out at me. But for you and for this story I really can’t help myself.

I adore this story. I love Johnlock, but most writers don’t handle the two of them as a couple well. You are one of the more notable exceptions. Both of our boys at Baker Street are very in character and were put into the intimacy realistically. I guess I had resigned myself to the total twisting of their characters to facilitate a romantic relationship that your story grabbed me by the lapels and threw me into a wall. Not that Sherlock or John is exactly like cannon because in cannon Johnlock is, while feasible, not exactly in character. No the twisting is subtle and logical, not sudden and in taking of liberties.
Sherlock is still Sherlock in your story his intellect is still there he is still sarcastic, cutting, he insults Anderson and Donovan in a biting way, insensitive, and careless of the feelings of others, he is all those things but he in your story so devoted to John that he makes an effort to apologize to Sally for his verbal slapping. that he softens himself to please John but still being himself is so beautiful to me. (if any of that makes sense good for you you have more deductive reasoning than most of my family) (oh- - and thank you if you are still reading my rant on how perfect John and Sherlock are done in your story) (:
