I feel like there should have been one more thing in that boggart scene.
“Big... bro...ther... let’s... play... ed... ward...”

Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh! This was a beautiful fanfiction. The ending was bittersweet and very well written! I'm quite upset that Ed and Al left alive and living without England's knowledge, but I feel that it was the best of endings. I think that the best factors you have put into this fanfic was your ability to write a well spanned plot and the consideration into keeping characters into their personalities without making any of them OOC. Thank you for writing this, I will be off to read the alternate ending Atonement.

I haven't felt this anxious about what was going to happen in a story/show since when I watched the actual anime! The plot was amazing and I loved all the character interactions. Al, Ed and Sirius's friendship was really fun to read. The plot kept me on the edge of my seat and I stayed up all night to finish this fic. The ending was so bitter-sweet but it could not have ended up any better. Also very well balanced between the two universes. I find it annoying when the story barely includes the other characters even though it's a crossover. This story felt completed and didn't feel like you rushed an ending so you could be done with the story like a lot do- Loved it.

I found this story on a rec list on Tumblr. I'm so glad I did because this was amazing. It took me about 3 days to read while taking my college courses. If I normally cried while reading stories I would have cried at this ending. I was utterly engaged and wanted to cry.

This was a great chapter to read while eating lunch.

I read this fic in a night and stayed up til 6am to do so - I think it is amazing, and I needed to say thank you very much for writing it!
Loved the characterisation of everyone, and how you brought in the secondary and less common characters - love it when the Harry Potter verse feels as big as it is! The plot was fantastic, and I found myself getting quite anxious as to what Pride was up to - good job! :D
I also really loved how Ed and Al were their genius selves, but I never felt that this was overplayed or hammed up. They got their stand out moments, but so did others - Ron in particular was amazingly courageous, and I felt very sad when he lost his arm. I started crying when they got home to Mrs Weasley and had to tell her about Ron's arm on top of Mr Weasley's death. How cruel of you! ;.;
I loved the ending and felt that you wrapped everything so neatly - on the one hand it is such a bittersweet sadness that everyone in the Potter verse is going to mourn Ed and Al for the rest of their lives, but on the other we get the happy reunion we were waiting for and that the boys so richly deserved. I did have a brief moment of hope that you were going to save Sirius as well though! But it was all neatly tied up and everything resolved satisfactorily.
I am honestly worried about this Harry though, who has lost two friends and Sirius, is traumatised by the loss of Ron's arm and the double blow of witnessing and not preventing Mr Weasley's death, and who was more knowledgeable in this verse - Ed and Al kept those at Hogwarts informed of the goings on - and therefore his sense of guilt and responsibility has tripled for each loss. I am very worried for Harry's mental health, and even though we know how his story continues and ends, I feel that Harry is going to struggle a lot more in this AU you have created - I think everyone is going to carry more and deeper scars after the war.
So, in short, I loved your fic. It's one of the best crossovers I've read, and incredibly well balanced - both between the two fandoms, as well as between characters and plotlines. Thank you so, so much for writing it, I so thoroughly enjoyed reading it!

Amazing. Perfect. I am literally going to cry of sheer happiness and grief right now. Thank you for this. If I could, I'd make a million accounts and give you a follow and a favorite with each one. I cannot explain how beautiful this is. The plot was full, character were in-character, and everything was truly exquisite. The ending, too! The best ending for any fanfiction I've ever read. I appreciate the work you put into this. Thank you.

I'm not crying. It's just rainwater.
| Guest chapter 12 . 8/10/2017
the plague? you mean the black death?
Soo are you insinuating that Flamel was the one who casted a deadly plague across Europe?
Or was that a cover up story to the muggles?
| Guest chapter 8 . 8/10/2017
that cover pic...
I don't have words for the sheer absurdity of it...
Wait, I just used one.
But I like your story. Very interesting.
