|Reviews for Just a Park Bench|
| MayBell Lyric chapter 1 . 7/30/2016
God I love this story. I'm re-reading this for the second time now, and it's both heartwarming and heart-wrenching at the same time.
I can't help but notice, however, that you made a minor error. Scotland is part of Britain, so it doesn't make sense for Arthur to say that the people in Mary Poppins were British and not Scottish. Because all Scottish people ARE British. Americans sometimes get this wrong, but Arthur is the type of person to be very strict about it. Arthur would shout that these people were specifically English. Also, that "Step-in Time" accent that Alfred was referring to was supposed to be a Cockney accent. (A very terrible attempt at a Cockney accent, but Dick Van Dyke tried his best...)

Cute! I love it! This is the best one of these stories I've ever read :)

I loved this fic! It made my heart so happy and then tore it then put it back together. I was kind of scared it would leave my heart in tiny shreds for a bit... Beautifully written and cleverly done. Thank you for writing it and have a great day!
| Scaleon1 chapter 1 . 5/1/2016
This has been the one story I always come back to for the past 3 years. I still have never read it the same way twice.

This is a great story. I love how a simple bench can provide immense refuge for them both, a reflection of how people cling to the most trivial objects for comfort.

How cute! Amazing story :)

I don't even know what to write. This is just so wonderful that I feel no amount of praise I could come up with at 3 am would do your work justice.
I'm just glad that everything turned out well in the end. If Arthur just left Alfred to suffer I would've cried like a bitch and I wouldn't care if I woke up everyone in the house because of it.
| Super Sister chapter 2 . 1/11/2015
Rereading this - I love how Arthur can persuade a man to move out, but can't persuade a boy to leave a bench alone.
| AEngland chapter 2 . 1/8/2015
Gyahh! Loved this angsty fic...kudos to your portrait of these two dorks finding each other. And boy howdy, do I love a worried Arthur taking charge! Alfred, you are in good hands. May they share that bench ad infinitum AND beyond. 3

Oh my God... That was totally Heartwarming!
How they developed their unique relationship through the Park Bench was Bittersweet into Lovely...
I'm so Happy how Arthur helped Alfred's situation...
That was Truly Sweet...
I might cry... :')
I Fallen in Love with it!

| Reverse Gravity 499 chapter 2 . 6/6/2014
that was so great and i liked how Arthur and Alfred's relationship grew slowly. I wasn't expecting Alfred's home life for a while, but as I started to figure it out I was like "Come on Arthur, you can do something about this!" and he did so... YAY!
| Fluffy Asian Panda chapter 2 . 3/20/2014
Aw, this is adorable I absolutely loved it! I just have one little problem, though. Lowly is an adverb that means, and I quote from Google, "low in status or importance; humble." So it doesn't mean quietly or not loud. Other than that, it was wonderful!
Keep on Writing
