| ZeroBen chapter 3 . 5/19/2011
The ending to a really good story. It had a bit of everything in it and that's always a huge plus. I like how Jack was still Jack during the visit. You kept them both in character and Rachel's support for him is to be admired. Truly best friends, although I'm still a firm supporter of them eventually getting together in your stories.
If not for the fic following the episodes, then for maybe a one shot. It needs to be explored one way or another.

"I never fail. I just succeed at finding what doesn't work."
My favorite line of anything he's said. Sums him up perfectly.
Very good chapter. I like the Finchel moment and Jack's conversation with Mr. Schue. Lol, that line about catching poor was so wrong yet so hilarious.
Onto the third and final chapter..

Super Friends... Never was there a punch thrown or at least landed. Not a one!
There were a lot of little lines that were awesome in this, like Puck and Kurt's little exchange, Jack and Rachel going back and forth with the anything you can sing, I can sing higher.
As for the storyline. It's just one big wow. I loved it.
This is so good. It just works so well. I'm only done with the first chapter obviously, but this has got to be one of your best I've read. The end is sad, too, and I'm glad I finally read the scene I've heard of on Jack's wiki for so long.
Onto chapter two...

Lovely finish to an amazing threeshot. Jack and Rachel's relationship developed beautifully, even if she denied her feelings for him. As for Jack and April, she is so perfect as his mother, I can't describe it. It was rather sad.
I do believe my favorite part was the Avenue Q reference, I was actually singing "The Internet is for Porn" today.

As always, beautifully written. This sounds odd, but I got really happy when Jack was scared to see April. This is story is probably my favorite of yours simply for all the different layers of Jack that is shows. The parallel to the Rachel/Shelby reunion was well-done and the bit at the end made me go, "Awwwwww."
As for songs, it all depends on what kind of good-bye you want: a bittersweet, final one or a hopeful, we'll-meet-again one. "The Poison" by the All-American Rejects or "Misguided Ghosts" by Paramore are probably not songs Jack would know, but they're the first songs that come to mind.

! I feel the need to give Jack a massive hug. Once again I alternated between laughing my head off and being close to tears. It was extremely interesting to see Jack's emotional side, a bit more hesitant, a bit more scared.
One line did give me an excellent idea for a one shot, but you'd probably want to write it since he's your character and the idea isn't exactly canon.
As for songs, aside from the ones I suggested previously, I have no idea.

Oh god, this was fantastic.
David Bowie and Janis Joplin, the Rachel/Pattie LuPone referrence, "I am afraid of change!", Anything You Can Do, and the Phantom with Paul Stanley (does that actually exist? I could use some comic relief).
So, you ended up picked April, huh? I was pretty happy to know my random speculation ended up true. And the whole scene was very touching, especially the end bit where Rachel held Jack as he cried.
Can't wait for the rest!

I think this is my favorite fic of yours. Ever. I laughed so hard for the majority of it, especially at Jack's bootleg Phantom and him finding out that David Bowie was indeed a male. I loved your hints at Jachel, even if you did still have some Rinn in there. -_-
April Rhodes.. his mother... Oh wow. I honestly did not see that coming. But it makes sense, and definitely fits. Interesting plot twist.. I wonder how the rest of the glee club would react if they found out.. EWW! SCHUE AND JACK'S MOM! I mean, they never actually did anything but he liked her.. Jack will have fun coming to terms with that knowledge.
PS. I take back what I said earlier, my favorite part was Rachel's ringtone for Jack.
PPS. I watched The Producers last night. This morning I reread your Danny Phantom fic. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
