This is a nice story. But if you were to ever re edit and revise I suggest less exclamation marks. This chapter has 49 of them... and maybe less contractions. I am is so formal.

The last chapter was so bittersweet! I loved every second of this story. This story was real and it made me think alot about life! Thank you thank you thank you for this!

Wow, just wow! This is an amazing story. What a horrible situation Edward found himself in, with such terrible parents. But boy is he a fighter! I'm so glad he fought so hard for Alice, even if it was to his own detriment at times. He should be proud of himself, of the man he became and the young baby he rescued and then helped mould into a strong young woman. I love the relationship they have. Great characters, great writing, great story, great job!

I really, really love this! It had so much depth and I was just drawn into each character! I have an adopted brother that was abused before he came to us. He has a lot of anger issues and also has dyslexia, so learning was frustrating for him as well. Its funny that Edwards character wanted to go into the army. My brother is finishing his 8th year in the Air Force in August. I think they crave that structure. My brother has done so well and is a loving, sensitive young man.

There is one thing that I am still wondering about. What was wrong with the lawyer that represented Edwards parents? She was such a strange bird. Seems like she had her own social issues! :)
