Reviews for Relative Position in Space
TheBubbleBee chapter 1 . 1/1/2024
Brilliant! To have a fic about them learning from eachothers different sherlock-experience.
Great story, well written and really on-point characterisation! The flow was good and in the end one ended it with a smile
Would love a series of fics like this
JolieBlack chapter 1 . 3/10/2017
I like this a LOT! If it had involved only Sherlock and John at 221B, it would be domestic bliss. Not sure what Greg's presence and the crime scenes make it then - investigative bliss? At any rate, it's a lovely look at the early days of their friendship. I could totally hear both John's and Greg's voices!

I hope we have your permission to send this story round the Canon Addicts community here on the site, too? :)
StarViking chapter 1 . 7/29/2015
Excellent story from Lestrade POV and nice touch with Montague Street from the books! I had to look that up cause it sounded familiar, but nice shout out!
Wynsom chapter 1 . 6/5/2015
Great character study! Especially love the shared learning experience between Lestrade and John!
librarywitch chapter 1 . 6/5/2015

Louey06 chapter 1 . 6/5/2015

sapphireswimming chapter 1 . 11/5/2013
How wonderful. Wow, I really loved this. The mood and pacing of this fic were both fantastic and the characterization spot-on all round. The dialogue flowed so naturally and in character and it was just a joy to read. Descriptions and narrating voice and just everything about this was great. This is the best written oneshot I've read in a long while. Awesome. :D
jack63kids chapter 1 . 8/31/2013
Glorious melding of character-related prose and case-fic. So much in this for the hardened fan of the fandom.

Lovely relationships between all 3 of the main male characters, but also some great incidentals with Donovan. Some nice touches - like Sherlock borrowing John's phone for reasons unexplained - and they don't need to be, it just works. Great deal of fun and the sharing of Sherlockisms and Greg and John's amusement is contagious.

Couple of odd Americanisms, but they are momentary distractions. Also would love this as a multi-chapter casefic... just saying! ;-D

Really enjoyable fic. Look forward to more .
sevenpercent chapter 1 . 7/9/2013
Finding a writer new to me that I can respect for excellent writing, characterisation, plot development and just all round brilliance is one of the best things about this fandom. And I just found you. Pardon me whilst I devour your back catalogue.
librophile chapter 1 . 5/25/2013
My favorite lines:
' "That was his-there's two of them?" ' Good thing the Holmes brothers chose different career paths, isn't it?
'Gold poisoning. Baker Street.' I honestly had no clue what was going on with this line at first, but I started laughing when I read it. Well done, all the way.
Guest chapter 1 . 5/10/2013
Nice. I especially like the part at the end where Lestrade and John exchange that glance, and for once it's Sherlock who's left in the dark.

Oh, and on 'largely amendable' I think you meant 'amenable'. Other than that I don't see any errors.
Friendly chapter 1 . 3/25/2013
And Sherlock still hasn't noticed the phones? lol
Great job, you got the characters spot on. Now I'm off to read some more of your properly grammatical works...
Trekkieb chapter 1 . 3/10/2013
Great snapshot from Lestrade's perspective. I enjoyed reading it!
Nectar-Ambrosia chapter 1 . 1/19/2013
Wonderful as always. Made me feel all cozy inside. You obviously have a fine sense of how these three think, speak, and interact. The dynamic is a bit challenging (duh, well, Sherlock IS there, to be fair) but thrilling to follow.
