Cute story.

don't know if my last review came up, so i'll post this one just in case...all i have to say is, GO GIMLI! he ROCKS! i think i like him jealous :) but i do feel bad for poor lina...good thing she had something to distract gollum with. and i wonder who the headmaster is...well, at least we know its a male now...keep up the good work...and more! soon! please? i can't wait for the "morning after" scene...:)

*mrrrrrrowwwww*! go gimli! sigh...such a wonderful dwarf...but i do feel sorry for poor lina...waking up in gollum's bed like that...hey, at least she had something to distract him with. who's the headmaster? denthor? celeborn? i could list a dozen others but i won't...at least we know he's male now! wait...bilbo? hmmm...at any rate, more! soon! you've got me shivering in antici...pation!

Aaaww! Lina's alone in a Dwarf's room... But then, I'm not much afraid for her. Gimli's a gentleman-dwarf. Is he not? ::blinks:: Hmm... ::thoughtful look::

It's so cute anyway... I have a particular fondness for Gimli, he's one of my favourite characters. Now guess who ties for first place... well, of course, I can't decently not put the two of them on the same level. My "particular fondness" goes for both Legolas and Gimli, of course. By the way, I love the scene with Gandalf hiding under a table from Legolas... Couldn't someone just put a spell on the kitchen's door so that he can't get in? :o)

My guess on who the Headmaster is... well, I have no guess, save maybe the One (you know, Ilùvatar), but then, that'd be too... you know, cliché. Maybe it is Fëanor. Or one of the Valar. Or Saruman - no, wait, he's been seen elsewhere in the story. Ooh, maybe it's Theoden or Denethor! Or maybe it's Grìma. Or maybe it's Xing, or another one of the mods... but they're too busy trying to keep the site from falling apart. Aarg... don't have a clue :o]

So the present was from Gimli - I hadn't guessed at all. But then, who would send someone a golden rock? This is so cute. Yes, again. My love is dedicated to peoples of Middle-Earth that are (to me, I mean) a bit down-to-earth, like Hobbits and some Dwarves - and then there is the personalities - and the way they interact with others - and that's why I'm glad when I come across a good fic. Yours is already a classic. Am I allowed to put it into my favourites' list? I love your story, it's so refreshing and well-written - I really find myself in your university, you know. Some teachers sound frighteningly like Sauron or Morgoth, or worse, Tom Bombadil... You are quite right about the courses, anyway. Some people would need to get their spelling right... were I proud, I'd say "be all obsessive with re-reading your work like me! It helps!" but I'm not, so I won't.

Chapter 16: Someone put a gold rock by Lina's bed? I like it. My bet is on Gimli because I can't see who else would have a gold rock lying around, but that's just me. Breadlegs was absolutely hilarious (particularly his relationship with a certain evil wall) and Gandalf hiding from Legolas under the table was just priceless. I also thoroughly enjoyed Boromir's class and I completely agree with him. The least people could do would be to get his name right.

Chapter 17: ROFLOL! I never knew that Sauron was the one responsible for making "the" turn into "teh." But that happens quite often to me, so I can't say I'm surprised. As for Morgoth and his contractions...**shiver** I also like the part with the eagle and how Gimli and Legolas allowed her to stay so long as she didn't tackle Legolas. LOL! As for falling asleep in Sauron's class, no that doesn't sound like a good thing to do. But since when did Rivendell equip itself with dungeons? No doubt a "refinement" added by our two evil doers. Toey was a hoot, too. Oh, this was a great chapter. Very enjoyable!

Chapter 18: All right, I get to meet the headmaster. Now if only I knew who he was... Yes, I'm right about the rock! It WAS Gimli! Oh, that's great. It's cute that Legolas is trying to "cultivate" him, too. Nice touch. I also like the bits about elven wine being a little too much for humans. Very funny! Okay, I LOVE this story and I can't wait to see what happens next. Wow. What a university. Makes mine look VERY tame!

Yaaaaaaaay...Three new chapters! Teehee...poor Lina, everything seems to go wrong doesn't it. But at least she got to meet Legolas! *sigh*
