WOW. I mean, just WOW! I've seen alot of spinoffs of the Dib/Zim interaction, but this one takes the cake! I was especially intrigued with this last chapter. I enjoyed how you managed to tie in this not-quite-Dib back into a canon-esque character, but you really outdid yourself with this last twist! I could have sworn that it was going to turn into a GrownDib vs. Zim canon-style fight, but you sure proved me wrong. Calling Dib out and humbling him with the most arrogant cartoon character that I've ever seen! Genius. I like this a lot so far. At first I thought Dib was too OOC to lose the ability to detect Zim's alien-ness even for an AU, but after thinking about it, and how certain experiences with shitty counselors and general pressure from family/society, yeah, I can see that level of denial. Hell, I suspect Professor Membrane is really just in denial about Zim as opposed to really being unable to tell he's an alien, and Dib is supposed to be a clone of him, so...yeah. Looking forward to it.

Dude! Dib is DARK when he wants to be. Or rather, his inner child is, but I guess that's really true to Jhonen's Dib. Good chapter, I like the confrontation.

I liked how Zim pointed out why Dib couldn't expose him; that was oddly bright of him.

And Dib continuing to trick Zim into talking, and also realizing that he really isn't that much of a threat, was good.

Hah hah, this was good, despite the grammar mistakes here and there -but what can I say? I'm a grammar nazi~!

I like the donning of the trenchcoat scene, it was very...I dunno, just FUN, for some reason~! And the part about his background was somewhat believable (although I have a hard time believing Dib would give up completely on the Paranormal, I can imagine him mentally noting and observing Yetis as he eats lunch or something) and I liked his apartment with the giant fish-tank. *v*
