A little jumbled, yeah, it coulda been written just a teensy bit better. But there were only two things that really caught my eye.

1. "matrix-esk" would be "matrix-esque"! Damn them complicatedly-spelled words!

2. In your A/N at the beginning, you used "effect" instead of "affect". Dude I don't blame you, it used to be my least favorite word to use. But here's a simple definition. "Affect" is a verb. "Effect" is a noun.

I can safely and honestly say, that Dib IS diffrently sane in the show.

I really loved the idea that Dib barricaded his entire bedroom as a kid. _ It seems quite... Dib-esque to me.

And I'm slightly confused by one bit... "not looking considerably more... matrix-esk than before."

Is the not supposed to be now? It's confused me deeply... O_o

Good chapter. Dib remembering his life before he gave up his paranormal, and his relapse into it, was well written. And I loved how he bought that trench coat at the end, and how it felt right to him - nice to see destiny take its proper course. Can't wait to see what happens next.

I thought it was alright, although Dib's confuzzlement at the realization that Zim was an alien seemed a bit overdone. You also made a few spelling mistakes, but since you said you wrote it on a iphone, I could understand that~ Anyways, good job, especially with the cliff-hanger at the end!
