Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. You really got into Danny's head, everything was spot on. I love the full circle-ness of it, how Danny knows despite everything he is secretly beginning to like his life. Everything was perfect. Very awesome, thank you!

I really like this. I'm always a fan of Steve saving the day, and Danny being exasperated yet grateful. Love the usage of Aquaman, and the originality of putting Danny in a cage, half underwater. That's a new one for me!

I could see this being an actual episode! Loved the idea of Danny keeping sublists as well his retort to Kono's spa day comment. I also like how tied in his doubts aobut his marriage falling apart. Makes it more realistic IMHO. You also did a fabulous job with the characterization. I had Danny's voice in my head the entire time!

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! i'm not too danny-crazy, in the sense that i'd choose steve over danny any day, hands-down, but i'm definitely not a hater. but if i was, this fic would've definitely turned me around completely!

you had me laughing practically the whole time. i especially LOVED his sub-lists lists. LOL. And this: "It reassures him and pisses him off all at once, which doesn't surprise him – that's usually how he feels whenever Steve shows up to save the day."

And the camaraderie between this team, especially how you stated that back in Jersey, for Danny he had friends he would die for too but it usually takes years to build that up, whereas with 5-0, it was weeks. i soooo love that! it's something i'm looking forward too-that kind of camaraderie one day. hopefully soon! (fyi: not that you probably care, but i'm about to enter police academy in a month, lol)

but for reals, i love this story too. you've got the gibes, the character, the mannerisms down so well for each of them. man i wish i could do that! i so envy your skills badly! ... in a non-sinful way, of course, haha. thanks for the entertainment! since i've already watched the re-runs again, i needed something else to tide me over as i eagerly and impatiently (and somewhat anxiously, after hearing how the episode's supposed to play out) wait for a new 5-0 episode next week. so glad i got this place!
