Reviews for Fathers and Sons: Post Scene to Broken Arrow |

![]() ![]() ![]() This was good. I was listening to an instrumental version of 'Hey There, Delilah' while reading this. It really brought out the emotion in the story, in my opinion. Very good. Now, every time I listen to the song, I'll think of this fic. I just love the familial vibes the guitar brings out. Well done. :) -Darth Becky 726 |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, thanks so much, this is exactly what I feel would have happened at the end of Broken Arrow. Of course Tony wouldn't just forget about all the missed occasions Senior saddled him with. Nor would he trust everything would be magically be alright from now on. Gibbs makes sure to ground him down and to provide his own brand of father/son relationship. Thanks and cheers! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Nice I like them in father son mode. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Excellent story! Would love more! |
![]() ![]() ![]() it good Tony will give his bio dad a chance. But I think he was worried he would lose what he has with Gibbs. Everything he wanted his real dad he already has with Gibbs. He is going to teach Tony how to work with wood. Gibbs is the dad Tony always should of had. |
![]() ![]() ![]() WOW! Totally awesome!. I was sad that the 'Broken Arrow' episode lacked a Gibbs/Tony father/son scene like in 'Flesh and Blood' and this filled the gap perfectly! Loved Tony's hesitancy in whether or not he should take the trouble to get to know his father. Also loved the way you wrote the guilt that Tony felt ... thinking it was somehow his fault that Senior hadn't spent much time with him when he was a child!... that he hadn't been the 'perfect son'! Typical Tony feeling everything is his fault! Glad that Gibbs was there to set the record straight and that Gibbs is spending the time with Tony to teach him woodworking and other things that his father didn't! Gibbs is the perfect surrogate dad for Tony! :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Excellent |
![]() ![]() Awwwwwwww! Love it! |
![]() ![]() ![]() So glad you wrote this. I was frustrated with the episode, like Tony's dad was wonderful and Tony had all the issues. Seemed like all the team was siding with his dad. I really needed your conclusion. It put everything I was thinking in place! Esp. for you to have Tony say he wasn't sure things could be . |
![]() ![]() I loved this. Poor Tony was a bundle of nerves during Broken Arrow. I'm glad that he has a Dad in Gibbs. Gibbs has been a better father than Senior has ever been. |
![]() ![]() ![]() ahhhhhhhhhhhhh I loved that picture of the two of them. showed a different side of Senior :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Great story! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Daddy Gibbs taking care of his boy! |
![]() ![]() Really good story. Senior is trying but Gibbs is there. That makes all the difference. |
![]() ![]() ![]() aww...i almost cried with this one...i didn't like how things went with the show...didn't like how gibbs thought it was funny, to use tony's father for the case and such...imo, the show lacked the caring feeling of the last eppy with robert wagner. well done. alisa |
