Ruffnut totally deserves to have her advances acknowledged. Though you've given her character a softer side that few reveal, and I'm really enjoying it.

Hiccup the explorer viking makes so much more sense than Hiccup the warrior viking. You've kept him in character, you've expanded on his appreciation of friends due to his isolation as a child

I think you meant "Hiccup said quietly."

This is one of the best fanfictions on this site. The plot is more in depth and the characters are more real than just flat characters. I love the scean where Ruffnut hugged Hiccup and I'm wondering what did she say to Astrid. Keep up the awesome work and the hint of RuffnutXHiccup stuff that was iceing on the cake.
