I am really really interested in where you are taking this and how it will develop. Most of this fics in this genre are re-tellings of the book, the movie, or trying to combined the books and movies. This is one of the few I have seen that is tackeling the after and going in what looks to be a new direction. I look forward to seeing this update!

This is pretty interesting so far, and nicely written.I love Astrid and Hiccup's interactions with each other. I think you've got the characters down pretty good.
