Very well written. Interesting and unique. Loved Lupin's perspective on things, particularly his thoughts about Harry's first sentence to him. Great stuff.

Terrific! It's always bothered me that Lupin nor any of the other professors ever talked to Harry about his parents. Only Dumbledore would have the kind of power to shut those mouths.

This is absolutely awesome. I really like Lupin's perspective and he seems very in character. I especially enjoy him breaking up the fights while 'sleeping' lol. Well done!

I was really happy to read that momen from Remus point-of-view. Even if it was sad, It was good to know some of his most horrid memories. Guess I had never though much about the fact that he had to sit through his best-friend burials and long years of grieves...

Great story! I wondered the same thing in canon, if Remus was awake for at least part of the trip, especially when Malfoy was causing trouble. I liked his POV of the chapter and his memories of Harry as a toddler.

This was really interesting, and well written, I enjoyed it a lot! All of Remus' feelings for Harry were so parental and good and it makes me a little sad we did not get it in the book. I am currently really wishing when I check out your other works you will have the entire third book retold from Remus' point of view, or something along those lines. This was just really great, and I liked it a lot!

This was absolutely wonderful! The pacing was superb and the way you wrote it had me completely engaged. It was so vivid - I could picture the scenes so clearly before me! The characterization was spot on and I especially enjoyed how you portrayed Lupin (mind you, he's my favourite character, and I have pretty high standards regarding how he is written). I just loved how you included the way his mouth twitched slightly, how realistic and "canonical" it felt (almost as if it was taken out of the book, though this might have something to do with the fact the dialogue ((understandably)) didn't diverge much from the original). The only feedback I have is that there were some very minor, occasional spelling mistakes in the text. Y'know, like missing the last letter in the word "Azkaban" or reversing the word "on" but that's what happens when typing and it didn't distract me at all from the story, so don't worry too much about it. The only consistent,"conscious" (I don't know if that word choice makes sense, to be honest) spelling mistake I spotted whilst reading was how you wrote, "followed" as "followed". Overall, though, the story was great. I don't know if you're reading this (considering that this piece was published nearly seven years ago ((I have to admit that I already had like 90% of this review typed up when I saw the publication date))) but if you are, I just want to say that you're a great writer and that no matter how cringy it may be to look back at an old story (though I don't know if this rings true for you - it does for me anyway) you should be proud of this one.

I'd love to see this continued on in certain scenes from POA between Lupin and Harry from Lupin's perspective.
