Went here to read a modern JAFF ranked fifth of all P&P stories. Only to discover that this is ANOTHER teaser ad for a published work. Either take it down or label it correctly as a non-finished story. I am so sick and tired of JAFF writers who list teasers as complete works.

Please don't mark unfinished stories as complete. I don't care, if the completed work is published somewhere else. If you don't post the whole story on ff, then don't label it as complete here. It is common curtesy. Also please refrain from using ff net as an advertising site for stuff you have published elsewhere. It is rude to the website owners and to the readers.

It’d be great if the fact that it’s incomplete was included in the summary. I was looking for quick reads, not first chapters.

Ok. I have had bad experiences buying expensive books that were very bad. However, seeing the comments I feel optimistic. I'll take the risk. I will look for the book. ️

An interesting take on a classic.

I bought this on my Kindle and it's one of my absolute favorite modern AU JAFF works. I left a more extensive review of this story on Amazon as megaminoeien, but thought it appropriate to leave one here, as well. I found it charming, witty, downright hilarious and exceptionally well written. I genuinely can't understand why it only has three reviews (including mine) on Kindle because it deserves much higher praise than that. In short, I'm a huge fan.

You need to indicate in the story description that this is a taster only, otherwise this is an annoyingly blatant use of fan for free publicity for your book, which as a disappointed reader who expected a 2 chapter short story, I resent.
