Omgosh I've been on a james/lily fanfic marathon and stumbled upon your fic and I love everything about it! I love the buildup and I hope youll be able to update soon! I hope lily sees past everything and stay for James or at least try long distance. She deserves to be happy. Same with James.

So so so into this story. I cannot stop rereading! Your characterizations of James and Lily are so unique and so sweet. I am constantly impressed by how well you write, and how many layers of depth you imbue into your characters. Thank you so much for this fic, and I cannot wait for the next updates.

I really loved this fic!

I can't believe this story was being published for almost 10 years and I'm only discovering it now! It's one of the best Jily fanfics I EVER read! It has everything I love and is excellently written to boot!

James and Lily's relationship and dynamic is amazing, their chemistry is sizzling and tension palpable. You can feel the pull they have on each other and how Lily's attraction grows. The banter and dialogue is super fun and the flirting is downright delicious! The development is perfectly executed - not too fast (despite short number of in-story days) and not too dragged, just the right speed and with the right story beats. Characters are in character, believable and likable and if they make a mistake they admit it and own up to it.
Mature scenes are tastefully done and very hot! And very VERY welcome! I'm also a complete and total sucker for the "Jily didn't get together at Hogwarts and reunite after several years as adults" trope, it's absolute best and you took the best part of it and utilized it perfectly! (now I can only hope that this means certain, ahem, other aspect of canon could get positively affected as well, since we're diverging form canon and all that / fingers crossed/)

The final scene and plot twist almost gave me a heart attack haha! I was heartbroken together with James and then almost cried with him once Lily showed herself! I'll admit I really did get teary eyed ;_; I'm so happy I found this fic on this chapter cause I can't imagine waiting years for this to finally happen, I wouldn't handle it T.T

Secondary characters are fun too and get you attached to them. It was interesting to see Marlene in such role lol since she's usually given the bff part. But Alice handled that part exceptionally well.

I took a look at updates and omg it seems like you post a chapter a year and I'm about to die aakfkjal! Is there anything I can do to convince you to not wait another year for the next chapter? Please? I'd give anything ;A;
