So every time they go back they have never gotten as close to winning as in canon. They don't know all the horcruxes locations. While your tournament is vastly superior, it never makes sense why things get so much more difficult. You've gone over and over the same time period so many times. It would be nice to have final closure, but it is hard to keep invested.
