Decided to take a break from ending world hunger to review this crazy awesome story. I have to admit, I am in shock! Actual destiel so soon! I'm used to you making us grovel for it on our knees on the dirty ground (Not to say the masochistic halves of me (haha, get it? because two halves make a whole? So all of me!) don't enjoy it). I know that technically you aren't writing this particular story anymore, but I DO know you ARE busy writing an amazing story so keep it up because it's brilliant! But you know, try and take some time to do stuff to stay alive too, like eating and sleeping... Yeaaaah, that stuff's important too when you actually think about it, I guess.

Basically, you rock my socks and have probably stolen all those that till now I thought were "lost" in the "was." But don't worry. You can have them. This fic was so good that I literally had to read it twice from start to finish within 24 hours. It had everything I could hope for in a Destial fic! It was sexy and funny and emotional and touching and just the right amount of awkward; it was totally realistic and believable and all of your characterizations were on point all the time. Your various portrayals of Cas were fantastic. The dominant dream Castiel was so freaking hot; your guilt ridden Castiel was totally heart-breaking; your overcome with unfamiliar emotions Castiel was too good for words. Your Dean was vulnerable and funny and charming and totally lovable, and your Sam was adorable. Misha Collins should read this fic (if he hasn't already lol) I think he would approve. It was fucking awesome, thank you for sharing it.
The best part would have to be when Dean is overcome with gratitude after Castiel tells him that when it comes to Dean sometimes he forgets he has limits too. That whole part was so real and terrific. My favorite scene. Great job.

I absolutely love this story.
Regarding the item that turns people into a pillar of salt, that would be a fragment of Sodom. Though it's not directly referenced as this in the show, the reference to Lot's wife alludes to this. In the biblical story, Lot, his wife, and his daughters fled Sodom before God destroyed it, but Lot's wife looked back and was turned into a pillar of salt.
Again, I'm a huge fan of the story and I'm only six chapters in.

Love Dean and Cas's relationship but mostly I wanted to say how much I adored how you portrayed Dean and Sam's relationship. I don't have brother's myself, but I know many pairs of brother like this. There's love and concern, but sometimes they just regress to childhood and end up in a wrestling match.
