| Wolf of the Western Woods chapter 37 . 12/12/2012
You're right. We're all terrible people. How can a story about a Disney princess movie be so dirty and yet so loyal to the heartwarming nature of the characters? Why, by being well written with excellent attention to details in every aspect, not just the sexy parts. Well done, I enjoyed it a lot

Read through this whole thing in one night, I couldn't stop haha. I like your style of writing and it's pretty hard to come by a good writer on this site so I'll have to check out your other stuff.

You always manage to pack so much emotion into your scenes. For example, that last smut scene managed to be both exceedingly sexy and super sweet. In this chapter Rapunzel, as usual, was absolutely adorable in her fascination with the world. I especially enjoyed how she practiced presenting awards to Eugene.
On the manlier side, Eugene's deep denial and struggle to control his jealousy was nice. It's a struggle we all face and though he's giving into it, he's also trying as best he can to keep it under control which is good to see.
And so with this review I bid you adieu for now. It's getting a bit late, but I'll pick up this review streak again tomorrow night.
| Guest42 chapter 9 . 12/1/2012
That innocent yet totally devious massage managed to be both sexy and funny at the same time. Rather like Rapunzel's sketches with Pascal mixed in the middle. I like the etiquette lessons so far. They're just another thing that shows how much Eugene cares about Rapunzel. And "Phil's" no-nonsense attitude serves as a great foil to Eugene's flippant nature.
| Guest42 chapter 8 . 12/1/2012
I think that the smut at the beginning of the chapter was my favorite so far in the story. Probably because Rapunzel was enjoying it so much and Eugene was clearly enjoying "playing with his food".
The more I hear about Gothel, the more I start to dislike her. Jeez she couldn't even get the kid a new puzzle? And was totally an all around shitty mom. Though honestly the Queen is taking everything rather well. Adored how the handshake ended up in examine-the-fingernail time.
| Guest42 chapter 7 . 12/1/2012
I would just like to say that once again you've managed to put in little details about the characters that make them feel like real people. This time it was all of Eugene's small insecurities from expecting to get his heart crushed to feeling depressed that he's not being taken seriously by the captain of the guards.
And Rapunzel's mother has that wonderful trait of being able to see right through Eugene and cut down to the core of what he's really feeling. That last line about being a "prince consort" was especially revealing and that she said that true love requires no reciprocation was very touching as well as wise. That she was not originally royalty was an interesting thing to put as her backstory and I liked it very much.
| Guest42 chapter 6 . 12/1/2012
Eugene's three-step plan amused me to no end. And Rapunzel's response of "I love you more" was just a little bit jarring. Poor Rapunzel doesn't understand how much it meant for Eugene to say "I love you" and honestly doesn't actually know what it is to truly be loved by another person at this point, with her parents being new to her and Gothel at least mostly faking it her whole life.
| Guest42 chapter 5 . 12/1/2012
I forgot to mention earlier that I find Rapunzel being overwhelmed by all the new experiences she's having quite fitting and that I admire the strength she shows by getting through them and, indeed, attacking them head on while relishing their newness.
I agree with Eugene Rapunzel's thought process truly is fascinating, though I was a little bit crushed when Rapunzel started crying when she thought she would make a terrible mother.
I rather fancied the little details that showed that the guards didn't immediately trust that "Flynn Rider" had only the purest of intentions. Though I rather the detest the fact that I've started to look to the thesaurus for new ways to praise your work. I'm afraid that these reviews are going to start sounding rather repetitive.
| Guest42 chapter 4 . 12/1/2012
I really enjoy how you write your smut. It's two people who care very much for each other and both want to make the other happy. I also was entertained by Rapunzel's discovery of the "Dead thing in Eugene's pants". Rapunzel's ignorance about certain subjects is to be expected, but her frustration about this prevents her from seeming too child-like and reminds us that despite her seeming naivety she is still very much an adult. Your characterizations of Rapunzel and Eugene are so spot on and consistent and just one of the many reasons I fell in love with this story.
| Guest42 chapter 3 . 12/1/2012
The contrast between Rapunzel's and Eugene's welcome into the bar was great. From "It's great to have friends, yay! _" To "The patrons at the bar gave no shits about Eugene." XD And then the talks about bases and Rapunzel checking for dead animals in Eugene's pants was just hysterical especially when combined with the pitying looks Eugene got from the thugs and Rapunzel's confused glances. Your sense of humor and timing is just perfect.
I also like the more subtle reminders that Rapunzel was stuck in a tower for most of her life with one other woman who constantly put her down. The fact that she is using the template for a woman to compare everyone's body types to irregardless of gender and that Gothel criticized Rapunzel even about her bust size is just something I never would have thought of yet fit perfectly with her established history. It's just one of those little things that brings the story to life.
