Aww. I love you for your glorious cop-out. But I also love you for the stand-alone, so poignant and sweet and sad. Hard to take for those of us in the he-would-NEVER-let-her-be-hurt crowd to take, but much more human. Thank you for both versions!

The movie was definitely the happy ending, of course with all the different ways the movie could have ended up, there are probably a lot of different happy endings, and a lot of sad ones too. Possibilities are endless really.

Ok I was not going to review as I could not see how to write as I was crying to much but after read the other chapter. All I have to say is THANK YOU COP-OUT!

I think I felt as sad at the end as anyone, but it's important because it's probably what would have happened. How long could the game last without real consequences? How could they ever live unless the cycle got broken somehow? The movie was all about redemption through being honest with oneself, and that would never have happened if Metroman hadn't quit. Kudos for exploring a darker path of events. That said, thanks for writing the followup, I don't know if I could have slept if there wasn't a tiny sliver of light at the end.

These two are too cute together. I'm glad you made it a happier ending.

The part with the birds made me laugh so hard, my sides hurt. Megamind is beyond amusing when you write him. I really do love your stories, even when they're depressing and have terrible endings (in the best way possible, of course).
