You call it "cop-out", I call it mending my heart. I mean, one of the things that I loved about the movie is that they basically went "Screw destiny!" and went on to make their own path, as you've said. So that last chap seriously had the double whammy of taking that away along with breaking all of the characters. So thank you for writing this!

Admittedly, I'm a sucker for tragic endings, but this is nicely reworked to make it happy. My theory? Metro Man and Megamind both got tired of the whole thing, and faked BOTH their deaths in a giant explosion. Metro Man is off in his fortress of solitude right now singing bad lyrics to a poorly-tuned ukelele...

That was so powerful. The details are just enough to evoke the pain each feels - I love this fic!

When I first read this, I thought it would end up as Megamind/Roxanne but in the end when it said that he died, I felt so depressed. yet I still wanted to fav it. I clicked on the fav button and it said that I had to log in. I took that as fate telling me that I shouldn't bother faving it. So I didn't.

I don't really believe in happy endings, but I still love them.

So after reading the second chapter, I just had to fav it.

First chapter: I really wish someone would do a drawing of Megamind once he's gone fully evil. You have amazing talent and conveyed the emotions so well! I can't compliment it enough!

Second chapter: Thank you -so- much for that. . I was going to just kind of die inside if that was all that was left. The ending is so sweet. I would love to see a continuation of it - perhaps yet? :D

I hate this story. I hate you. Seriously. This is awful. You're cruel and vindictive, and your story is awful. Really, terrible. Your writing is horrific, the emotions you write are shallow, and... well... you're just a horrible person.

Also, I wrote this whole review using antonyms. But you are cruel. Off to chapter 2! Which I didn't know existed! Yay!

Whoa...that was amazing. You really played with my emotions in this fic- shame on you, lol. But it was brilliant. I'm a sucker for happy endings though and so part of me wishes to believe that both Megamind and Metroman faked their own deaths to escape from it all. yep...I think I'll go with that, be in denial. And Megamind was the one who wrote on the grave marker. Yeah! Hooray for Denial!

Okay, okay...I'm over it. I really did like this story. beautifully written. Just makes me so sad.
