![]() ![]() ![]() ...o_0... This is amazingly well written, in character, and above all, realistic as a canon alternate ending. The emotions are blended together perfectly. The ending is wonderfully fitting, but it's so freakin' sad that it makes my eyes hurt from forcing themselves not to tear up. Personally, I'd like to see an alternate ending that's a little happier for Roxanne and Megamind, but this works well as it is. Please, do write more. You are excellent. Sincerely, ~LePh~ |
![]() ![]() your story totally broke me |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ogod, my fucking heart. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow, this was amazing! It was extremely well written in my opinion, and I can't find anything wrong with it. And it played with my emotions the whole time. I was laughing, then I was like "awww!" then, at the end, I was so incredibly sad that I almost started crying (but couldn't because I was at school before class.) I loved it. Maybe you could do an alternate ending? Where Roxanne doesn't leave after the accident, and goes to find Megamind. I have a feeling the main reason that he went true-super villain is because she left. After she got hurt he couldn't face her anymore, and because she didn't go see him, all the fun out of the villain-hero game was gone for him. So he became a true villain in his misery, and Metro Man responded in kind. That's what I got out of it. Of course, my insight could be totally wrong compared to what you wanted. But I think it would be cool if you could write an alternate ending. Obviously, doing it where Roxanne doesn't leave and goes and sees Megamind (or something like that) would potentially cause a happy, cliche ending, but I would like that. You can do whatever you want, of course. You are a great writer. |
![]() ![]() ![]() That was so beautiful written! You made me cry... I loved that they got to know each other via phone conversations and that she had to go to therapy for Stockholm syndrome. And I even loved the Dr. Horrible bit and that he went to the hospital to tell her he was sorry and then went right back to jail... And the ending! So sad... but I'll choose to believe Metro Man and Megamind decided to retire by faking their deaths ;_; |
![]() ![]() ![]() Dude that's too sad TT-TT! I don't know how you wrote this without crying T-T. It was beautiful though, but now I have to watch Megamind again to make me happy not a bad thing. I hope you'll update Dissimulate soon _! BYE BYE! |
![]() ![]() I feel really sad after reading your story But, really, I think that would be a highly possible train of events. As much as Roxanne accused Megaming of his predictability, it was their common trap: hers and Metroman's as well It was too old and reliable pattern of dancing around feelings, wishes, life itself. I'm grateful for your writing down the things I avoided to think about. I'm relieved that in the movie they all got wake up calls and reconsidered their preferences ;) In real life a person is quite seldom answering wake up calls, being too indulged in self-pity and despair. What's the movie for! ... in my case, at least :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Really sad, but beautiful. |
![]() ![]() ![]() OMG...your writing is genius as usual...that was so sad! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow, you did a fabulous job with this, and it's just so very... I can't even think of a word I want to use. Wonderfully heartbreaking? I don't know, but you did a great job. Really captured the tone you were going for. I do love the prompt you used, and wonder what other avenues it could have taken. Anyway I thoroughly enjoyed this. Look forward to reading more of your work! |
![]() ![]() I knew that the warden cared! Squee! Also with Megaminds grave marker. Maybe other than Minion did it. Maybe some prisoners who had respect for Megamind or his prison uncles could have done that! So ssssssssssssssssad! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Interesting one-shot. |
![]() ![]() ![]() What a thrilling ending, I'm still thinking about it ages after. It's a haunting fic that's unique in the way it approaches their relationship. This was well written and left me crying from start to finish |
![]() ![]() ![]() Dark but I like it! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh dear God, I cried. This was fantastic. Applause! |
