| Whirlwind421 chapter 1 . 2/19/2011
Good story. I actually hope Gwen finds out first. Then, he can have someone to talk to. :) Though, you are right, she would encourge him to tell Arthur.

I so want Merlin to tell everyone! And having Gwen find out first would be a good idea, she would help soften Arthur up to the idea and to cool down his anger. Nicely done!

huh...hiya it's vaberella. I understand Guin's justification for helping Merlin keep the secret, although her reasoning is flawed. She'll keep the secret as long as Arthur doesn't ask her. And she knows relatively that Arthur won't ask her. In the end, she's committing the gravest lie of all. The lie of omission. Ultimately, what she's doing-is betraying Arthur that much further, because she's showing her own lack of trust in Arthur, when if she said something or convinced Merlin that dropping some hints to smooth the transition-would be good. I have to say she is between a rock and a hard place, but Arthur will see her actions, just as bad as he would see Merlin's.
