| Seraphix chapter 50 . 5/19/2021 This has been a thrilling and exhilarating ride - I regret none of it. These 50 chapters aren't merely pages in a book to me, but a symbol of my past. A sign of who I was and my obsession with the Harry Potter Series, that will never truly diminish. My sister and her mother-in-law quote this fanfiction every chance they get. I cannot imagine James Charlus Potter acting like this in canon, but it does make for an interesting and, frankly, horrifying plot. These past 10 years of my life have been full of reading and rereading these chapters. After the 5 year mark, for a time, we did not know where we went from here. This was a major part of my daily life, I woke up and read this every single day. It felt like somewhat of an unhealthy addiction to this story, but now I realize that it was just the feelings this story evoked that led me to continue to read. I will never really forget this story, as ''His Greatest Wish'' is a hauntingly beautiful piece; one which I fully intend to cherish and show my children, when they too, need to feel the pure love of Severily.
