Amazing, astute character study.

Wow. I'm only up to the beginning of season 2, so I've only just met Mr. Scorpius...this portrayal of him is terrible! I mean, it's fantastic and tragic, he's in a terrible situation! Wow...from the little I know of him, it sounds like you've captured him perfectly. It makes me that much happier I forked over the $$ for season 2... :)

This is a very well written story. I like it that it is from Scorpius' POV. This vignette is very dark and disturbing, which it is supposed to be...

it is "emotionally effective" writing that deals coolly with very unsettling subject matter-just as Scorpius would.

The metaphor of the harvest God inverted was really evocative. Nice touch. ;-)

Having Scorpius brain-damaged is a good parallel to Crichton (and they are mirrors of each other). My take on it is that Scorpius didn't see implanting a chip into Crichton as all that bad, seeing what he's had implanted in his own brain.

I don't wish this fate on Scorpius, or think he's that brain damaged, but the story is very nicely done.

Impressive. Angsty, but impressive.
