I am absolutely delighted by this story. When I set out to find Hunger Games fanfic, this is exactly what I wanted to find - an elaboration of the end of the book. More specifically, a well-written elaboration of the end of the book. Something that maintains that hopefulness, but doesn't turn it into a fluffy fairy tale; something that maintains the darkness and pain, but doesn't turn it into an explosion of angst. I love it so far, and I am so thrilled to have found it!

Oh my gosh, you write so well! I felt like I was reading the fourth book of the hunger games. Crazy good story.

Oh my, you could've been an extra for the film? Well... it seems to be a great inconvenience instead so it makes sense not to go for it :\

I couldn't quite explain the swelling feeling I had in my chest while I got close to the end but I feel ecstatic and nothing felt rushed at all. Everything Peeta and Katniss experienced and came to in the end of this chapter seemed so well fitted and perfect. This has to be one of my favorite Hunger Games fanfic.. and you are an excellent writer and kudos to you for keeping all of your characters in character. Great writing and a respect for the original author's character personalities I appreciate above and beyond.

Thank you, thank you! Loved the HG trilogy and completely understand why Suzanne Collins ended it the way that she did. But the romantic in me desperately wants to read about Katniss and Peeta finding eachother again. I've read a number of fanfic stories that cover this time but yours in the only one that carries over the same style and feeling of the original books and characters. Thank you so much for providing such an enjoyable read. I can't wait for the next chapter :-)

I also love when you wrote that she realizes she has been in love with him all this time just that she was finally basically digging herself out of that dark place her heart was in. it's worth the wait when the writing is good :) hope to see an update soon 3

Fantastic story...sad and sweet at the same time, and just the right pacing (I love reading the post-Mockingjay, pre-epilogue stories, and most seem to just rush straight into their romance, and I love how this one is very real). I'm very much addicted, so I hope there's another chapter to see soon!
