Steph, I LOVED THIS SO MUCH! This is exactly the kind of fic I love most, and I'm so glad you recommended it. :)
I enjoyed every one of the little Christmas vignettes-it was so much fun to see the Bass family doing...family things. The Christmas photo was hilarious. "Next year, we'll just photoshop them in."
And my favorite was probably Chuck Christmas tree shopping with his son because it had such a great mixture of humor and sentiment. I love that Chuck is so concerned with being there for his kids. And this was my favorite line: "We can hire people from Brooklyn." LOL!
I like Blair forgoing her perfect Christmas tree to make her children happy (the only people who I imagine she could make such sacrifices for), and Chuck was too cute being over protective of his daughter and her first kiss. I like that he now views mistletoe as an offensive item.
Christmas shopping was adorable, and Blair and Chuck's own little limo present to each other was a nice touch. :) I bet 5 minutes turns into 28 a lot for those poor little Bass babies! And then it was so sweet of Victoria to ask for presents to give away to children in need. It sounds like Chuck and Blair are doing a good job with her.
Finally, I love that Amory is an F. Scott Fitzgerald reference. SO fitting.
I shall have to go read the other link you sent me now. :)

Just beautiful. Somehow I've always imagined their first Christmas playing out like this. A white background full of trees and a warm suite to shelter them from their own insecurities. Loved that he's still Chuck Bass and he'll always run away but with Blair along for the ride. Son funny that you included that Chuck can't ski, but I think Blair wouldn't either. I just don't see her as an outdoorsy, dangerous sports kind of gal, but still incredible. Lovely to read.

Nice chapter. Chuck and Blair spending a holiday together alone is just wonderful.

You used the 'family' line alot in this series...but I still loved this! So, so, so sweet.

The time you spent writing this chapter was well worth it - it was so beautiful and they will always be each others family.

I adored it.

Oh my gosh, I absolutely loved it! Love love love!
It was all so light (with a little angst), sweet and perfect! And EXACTLY what I love (and need) to read!
The "I'll always be your family" line is one of my favorites! Love that line so much because it's so SO true!
I loved that Chuck took Blair with him this time when he ran away, that he got to spend a Christmas with the only person that he really considers HIS family, and that they really truly are family and it shows in the way they take care of each other (Blair reassuring Chuck he's not his father, Chuck making sure Blair eats ect.).
If only this had happened on the show. Honestly, after the amazing hospital scene I don't understand why they took so many steps back? (Oh okay, so maybe finding out your dead mom is actually alive and having your crazy uncle come back to try and ruin you (again), screws with you a bit. But they shouldn't have done that SL anyways!) Especially with Chuck and Blair's first Christmas to follow; I hate that they neglected that quite momentous occasion that, as this proves, could have been great.
Thank you so much for writing this for me! I don't care how long it took, it was most definitely worth the wait!

Yay, happy Chuck and Blair and their spawn. I'm usually a very cynical person, but this was really sweet. And of course they would still give the limo some use. God help their children when they're older and realize what their parents are doing. It won't be pretty at all. The children were great btw, they certainly give them a run for their money. Great job.
