I really like your style for introducing new characters. I appreciate that you give a physical description of the characters first and then give the names through the dialogue... Its a lot easier to read than a big paragraph with a long winded description of the characters.

It's really ironic that the Roman emperors name was Lucius. In light of that, maybe Aurelian's middle name should have been that of his (I'm assuming) grandfather's instead of Jude... Although that would detract from the suspense surrounding the child's parentage.

I half expected Tonks to be the boy's "Mummy" towards the end... Don't ask how I got that. I liked how the characters' names weren't revealed in a long paragraph but through the story.
