| Ella Greggs chapter 1 . 12/26/2010
That was really sweet, very poetic. I wasn't sure where you were going with it at first, if you were going to have some scene unfold between all the kids in the choir room. But I like how you took it into Quinn's head, into her memories. So I'm guessing they were in the closet because the kids at the party were playing spin the bottle or something? I thought the writing was great in the paragraph that begins "She knew there were several things she would never have." I really liked the line "Just because the plumbing was in didn't mean the building was ready to occupy." Conversely, the phrase "perturbed by his evasion" seemed a bit stiff and formal, at least compared to the rest of the text, which flowed quite naturally. A very gentle story, kind of like the kiss it describes.
