Whoa! That whole scene was just magically good.

So good and gripping! The first 3 chapters have been the most exciting ride and I'm very fearful I will get no sleep tonight as I don't think I can put this story down.

This story! My god. It was so, so, sooooo good. I didn't care one iota about the typos or mistakes here and there (and they were hardly there at all). Or the fact that you ran with the prompt and did your own thing. I had no time to notice all of that, so enthralled was I with this epic story. It had it all, suspense, heartache, hardship, longing, lust, smuttiness, character development, humor and a happy end. It was the gift that kept on giving!

I avoided this story for the longest time even though I've read almost every one of your other stories, simply because I wasn't sure I could handle a Regency era AU story...somehow it seemed so AU to me that I worried that Snape and Hermione wouldn't feel like the characters I knew.

You captured them beautifully. I loved all the new characters you introduced, and having THAT twist so early in the story totally surprised me and made me wonder how on earth this would end up SSHG haha. You did not disappoint...the story was just as sweet and heart-wrenching as any of your others.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful pieces! Yours are some of my favourites of all time.

I should have reviewed before as this is a great story…sorry. I’m not a great fan of SS/HG so that I’m enjoying it so much is proof of how good it is.
And BTW I’m delighted to at last discovered a fan fic author who knows that the past tense of to drag is dragged and not drug. LOL

I’m only four chapters in—but I’ve got to say that this is the most entertaining story I’ve read on fanfic in the past decade. Really fun! You’ve done such a wonderful job crafting this time period. How quickly my mind jumps from modern day speech to this eloquent and sometimes illiterate speech. I find myself immersed in the lexicon you’ve used here and utterly distracted from my normal life. Very nice job. 100/10

Just dropping another note to say that I’ve now finished my re-read of your lovely bibliography (for at least the third time). Your stories are like catching up with old friends and finding that everything is still warm and easy between the two of you. Thank you for sharing your work with all of us.
