Are you gonna have Li hang with Germany some more sometime? By the way your story is pretty awesome.

Pros of the general series:
Flow of words and use of description/adjectives is beautiful. Main plot is interesting and develops nicely throughout the story. Characterization is spot-on. A very easy story to read and I do enjoy it very much. I hope you return from your hiatus soon, because I can't wait for the conclusion of the story .
Cons of the general series:
Just to point out, there are WAY too many sub-plots. The main idea of a spirit sending Li into a different world and her friends struggling to find her is very good. I would like to see more on the general focus of the story: Li trying to get home. The other arcs that were thrown in were a bit boring and unnecessary, too, to the point where I completely skipped the Nekotalia mini-arc and the Middle East one (another reason I skipped the Middle East arc is because you have too many OCs involved in this story as it is, and the amount is perfect - your adding more made my head spin with trying to remember them all). Unless they have an IMPORTANT impact on the general quest of Ru and the others trying to get to Li or Li trying to hide her Firebending (which I know was kind of involved in the Middle East arc since I skimmed it, but that problem was solved pretty much immediately), they're not worth bringing up, which can maybe include Summer, unless she was the spirit who brought Li to the Nations. I hope this makes sense. I'd just like to see the five main conflicts (Li being in an alternate universe, hiding her Firebending which is more powerful for an unknown reason, Ru and the others trying to find her, Gege's organization trying to find Li AND Ru, Germany and Austria trying to figure out who Li is) be resolved, and soon. 60 chapters is a lot for anything. Again, I hope you can understand what I mean.
But other than that, again, this is one of the best fan fictions I've ever read, and I greatly look forward it it's continuation. Just try to keep in mind you have enough material for a great story and anymore would be overwhelming.
This is more of a personal quip, but considering Avatar and Bending is so strongly based on Asian culture...where are the Asians? When it was discovered Li writes in Chinese while she was in the hospital, I expected someone would call China to see if he knew anything or something like that. I was surprised that she was thrown straight into Europe when it was decided she would tour the world. I expected a lot more involvement from China, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, etc., just because of the ties Li and Bending have to Asia. Again, this is more of a personal preference I'm probably just stating because I'm a detailed perfectionist and a martial artist who trains in the four styles used in Bending and others, but when Bending IS Asian, it'd make sense they'd be involved somehow, especially China, like maybe he noticed her Asian features and use of martial arts.
Another little tidbit is I suggest is when fights involving Bending come along, if they ever do, read up on the four martial arts each Bending style is based off of so the description you give of the fight scenes are accurate. If you don't know, Firebending is Shaolin, Waterbending is Tai Chi, Earthbending is Hung Gar (Metalbending and Toph's particular style of Bending is Mantis), and Airbending is Be Gua Zhang.

I love this story. :D I'm glad that none of the nations have discovered Li's firebending. It makes the story more suspenseful, deepens the mystery for Germany and Austria, and makes it more exciting. The middle east arc is now one of my favorite parts of Fire Lily now.

Aw ok hurry back! I (and hopefully many other readers) will wait for you!
Also why did they make the effort to call the middle eastern nations by their human names but not America?
| Alix Cohen chapter 57 . 1/17/2013
Thanks for coming back to wrap this up! I was starting to worry...
also, America's response. "DUDE!"
| katzsoa chapter 57 . 1/15/2013
Yay, chapter! I understand, Real Life can be a pain, especially in the fanfic.
Israel face-to-face with Osama bin Laden! That was nerve-wracking. But she played it well. And then Li did some awesomeness.
And then the SEALs came in with...felt balls? Not real bullets? But the "male Nation" (Saudi Arabia? My guess) was going for him with the knife, so...
And Israel comforting Li :) :) :)
(And America read an expression. That's unusual. ;P)

| Ant-Carrying-A-Rubber-Tree chapter 56 . 9/22/2012
I love how Li is holding a KNIFE to OSAMA BIN LADEN's throat. And she has no clue who he is. America's gonna think of her as all the more awesome for this later, isn't he? XD
| Alix Cohen chapter 56 . 9/10/2012
So THIS is how Bin Laden died. I was wondering, with that memoir out and all...
| katzsoa chapter 56 . 9/6/2012
Ahh, come on, so close!
I've decided that there are too many fun moments whenever the Nations are together to put the ones I loved most in a review.
Wow. Did not expect that. Awesome. Unfortunately, Li's back at gunpoint again... but she's got a knife to OSAMA BIN LADEN's neck!
