Dude i read BWYDT before this and even the sequel and man this was so sad. This pairing is devastatingly lovely. Gutted for Adrianne but Happy for Quinn. Damn thank you for this prequel and showing how they were, it was something I was interested in years ago when I first read BWYDT (reread about 10 times now) and to find out this exists is just wonderful. Time to now reread for the 11th time.

Hey, this story has impacted me so much I'm here after 7 years! It's also a story in which I ship Adrianne with Quinn more than with Rachel. I fucking love this story dude!

I read this first before BWYDT, and I can say that this is bittersweet and kept me from giving premature comments about Adrianne, I am kind of rooting for A happy ending for her, since this pretty much pictures a slice of life, every person has their own perspective and justification for what they feel or do. Some happy endings stem from heart breaks, just as heartbreaks opens a door to a happy ending.

Tragic yet beautiful. Sad yet bittersweet. I'm off to read the next part.

I really like your story. It's very well written when it comes to emotions and feelings conflictin with religious beliefs. Being a Christian myself I see a lot of people being taught the Bible and not reading it themselves. I have read the Bible myself have come to the conclusion that not all that is written inside of it can be applied to modern day. It was written in a time where people were afraid of anything different. Which is why in levitcus it spoke of not wearing jewelry and braiding your hair. Back then it was taboo. By today's standards I would interpret it more as don't dress to show all your lady bits. There are also people who are homosexual and they also are Christian. It's not all black and white. Just wanted to throw my two cents in. I'm excited to read the rest of your series.

This is the first time I've read this. I've read beautiful when you don't try many times before but I never realised there was a prequel and a sequel. and so I'm doing my catching up. I read this in three days. Which, to say how much studying I've had to do, is pretty quick, I think. But that's only because the way you write leaves me hanging on to every last word. it was wonderful. and, from what i can remember, sets up the back story to bwydt brilliantly. i'm going off to read that now! so thank you. this is a perfect story

Even tho the last 2-3 chapters seemed kinda rushed, I'm really glad you gave us this. Whatever Adrianne did in BWYDT aren't as bad as what Quinn put her through. It sucks but now I get it why things between them two were the way they were in BWYDT. Adrianne deserves so much better and Quinn should be forever grateful to her for pushing her in the right directions. Such a heartbreaking journey but you did an wonderful job writing it. Thank you!

Although I don't like Adrianne's decision to drop out of school so she'll be with Quinn, I do appreciate the routine you went with because it's very realistic. People do drop things to go where their love one (which annoys me to no end, especially with the younger generation). I guess, the heart wants what the heart wants.
