|Reviews for Regards, Harry|

I'm thinking it's just as well that Severus didn't play "Hot Rod Lincoln" or "Thunder Road", but "Bat Out of Hell" is absolutely perfect. I also like the way you're foreshadowing Dumbledore's continuing deterioration, and how Snape is preparing Harry for a life on the run.
| enb2004 chapter 28 . 7/11/2013
If you want to see Severus in the Amazon, you should read River of Dreams. Some of the things the author makes Severus go through are CRAZY! It is, unfortunately, unfinished. :(
Your story, BTW, is AMAZING! Loving it, and the first one!

I know why Severus has so little hope; he knows that it is very unlikely for any of them to be alive a year from now.
Excellent chapter; and I am glad Albus had to *look* at the basilisk he sent Harry, a twelve-year-old child, against.
| mysinger chapter 15 . 7/6/2013
Fantastic chapter! I loved Harry's dream and Severus' reaction to it. The ending was bittersweet and beautifully written.

I love this chapter. Snape is probably happy that Harry is doing something all the other teenage students have probably done (as House Head, he's undoubtedly been puked on before). I love how Minerva had to bite her tongue to keep from laughing out loud (you didn't say it, but it pretty obvious).
And I love the idea of the letters reaching the parents for the other kids while the kids are on the Hogwarts Express. Seriously.
You're absolutely right, though; Harry needs new bits in the clock, including "Shacked up with Ginny".

Oh, very good chapter! But if Albus dies the way he does in canon, Harry won't want driving lessons from Snape at all, I expect.
But Severus is allowed to dream of a world where there is at least one person in the world who doesn't hate him...

Oh, I have to review this again, it's so beautiful! And I remember now that when I first read this story I listened to Bat and it was my personal start into Meat's music (and a bit because it was ingenious Jim Steinman who wrote it) although he has always been around thanks to my dad who's a big fan ;) I had the luck to see Meat on his Farewell Tour and he was just incredible!
The song is really perfect for Sev and Harry and a fast car, the whole scene creates a feeling of "now" and you don't have to worry about anything else - and I think at least Harry did quite the same. I love this chapter 3

Well, Snape is marching into hell all right, and Albus is pushing him into worse. How lovely to set up one's martyrdom while making sure your 'friend' has to work for an Order victory even though it will mean his death or the Kiss. Considering that Albus brought this on himself by way of the cursed ring, so his great sacrifice was not entirely voluntary.
But as ever, both Snape and Harry still worship the Headmaster, and have faith that his 'plan' (whatever it is, though he can't be bothered to tell anybody) will magically work out someway.
And let's not forget that in canon that Snape is a nonperson by the time of the Epilogue, so he doesn't even have the satisfaction of knowing his sacrifices were remembered by anyone but Harry, while Albus, the great puppetmaster, is still adored. But hey, that's the way Rowling wanted it.
I expect you to do better. :)

OK, Severus…you have to be roommates with one, work partner of one and life partner of the other. And your choices are Sirius, Remus and James.
-"We'll murder them all in laughter and merriment/Except for the ones we take home for experiment (on)"...(don't ever let Snape listen to a collection of Tom Lehrer).
Great chapter. Marvelous use of duct tape (at the school where my husband teaches, a student once ended up duct-taped to the flagpole in front. This was a kid that A students were trying to murder...).
Yes. Snape does it for Lily. After all, Dumbledore certainly can't be trusted.

"Minerva?" he hissed.
-I so hope Harry doesn't say that to her face, or he'll think the Forbidden Forest is paradise, compared to where she'll send him for his *next* detention. Like that asylum, for instance.
I also love how Severus warns Harry not to mention to anyone that Minerva is his true love. Not denying or affirming it, either!
And the "Bring Him Home" broke my heart.
How sad that no one ever sang it for Snape.

He sighed and turned to face the clock on his desk. He shook his head and sighed as he read Harry's status—"In Trouble."
-He needs a clock for Draco, too. It would save time.
I laughed till I nearly hurt myself about the detention with Hagrid, and the five words that Harry came up with.

"It can't be wrong…when it feels so right…
Cause you…you light up my life."
Harry stole a glance at Ginny. His stomach did a back flip when she winked at him.
-Love this chapter. Valentine's Day wasn't wasted for Harry at all, not with that wink.

You made me laugh and say awww and feel lots of lovely sorrowful things.
I have the Beatles' songs stuck in my head now, along with images of Severus riding a motorbike & Bentley and Minerva hula hooping. Thank you.

And I've never told anyone this before, what the Sorting Hat wanted to do with me, that is.
-I thought Harry told Dumbledore in second year, and was told 'it is our choices' etc.
Brilliant chapter. I think if Harry can figure out girls, he's supposed to bring a field report back to Snape, heh.
As for teachers laughing and giggling over booze about students, well, my husband is a teacher and this has been known to happen (there was this kid who was duct-taped to the flagpole out front, after he did Lots of Stuff to others, etc.).
Very good letters back and forth.

Great chapter. I think it's interesting that Harry assumes that Snape isn't going to want intimate company of his own on that mythical island; but then, Harry doesn't think about Bill Weasley with Fleur. As many 16 year olds are, he is pretty narrowly focused on his own comfort, and doesn't think about that of others much.
I'm glad that 'in trouble' was only a modest fist fight with Dean (over Ginny, most likely).
And when is Harry going to get into the habit of telling Snape when he has those awful headaches?
