Not off to a great start.

Muai tai and a Bo Staff? he's like 4ft something and barely 100 pounds (probably less) so none of that is optimal for him. not to mention the silly clothes like a black cloak (in the middle of a forest, really?) and a headband that's so long the straps hand down to his rear along with Chakra metal bits which are supposed to be super expensive but he's just getting for free. This is "Bob Uchiha" levels of quality, and thats pretty low.

I can only hope it improves in later chapters because this isn't looking good.

Look focusing on the fighting is fun and all, but good lord Orochinmaru’s attack on the village is starting to feel like Goku vs. Freeza on namek lmao

The super sexualized nature of Naruto at the age of 12 ruined the immersion of the fic. Canon Naruto mocked everybody who even did the slightest thing perverted. This version of Naruto doesn’t mesh well with canon, regardless of any of your contrived circumstances.
Example: Having him stammer and be nervous around TenTen when he never would have done that in canon.
He hasn’t even gone through puberty so there’s no motivation to do the kind of stuff in this fic. Having him use his clones to have sex with each other is disgusting as well.

The final straw for the worst thing about this fic is female Kurama.
That is easily the trope that destroys a majority of Naruto fanfics. As soon as I see genderswapped Kurama, I know this is going to be a trash fic.

The romance in this story is extremely cringe. The love Naruto shared with Haku was beautiful, and her death actually brought tears to my eyes. But afterwards, it all went to shit.

If you do plan on re-doing/editing/revising this chapter i feel it would be better if he referred to his clone that collected comics and such. Still even with this nitpick its a 10/10 story. you don't understand the way shadow clones work properly. I say this cause if 1 clone means 1 days worth of work is equal to 2 days then 100 clones is equal to 100 days and so on. at 500 clones every 2 days is equal to 3 years worth of training basically. 2 weeks later and you have 21 years worth of training done. this is the after he became a half demon. twenty years of training of a Naruto who was already chunnin level puts him so far above Kabuto that it should've been an easy fight and then orochimaru shouldve been killed as well. nearly have way thorough the fic and yet next to nothing has changed plot wise.

Damn this is surprisingly the first time I’ve read a naru/haku that put this much depth in their relationship this quick. Good job

I've been enjoying the fic so far, especially the fact Naruto isn't braindead and the exploration of the long-term consequences of small changes early on.
