| Hawki chapter 1 . 2/22/2014
Like the concept. It's executed well.
| RomanaLadyPresidentOfGallifrey chapter 1 . 12/26/2011
3 this story :)
| BronzeNifler168 chapter 1 . 4/2/2011
This piece was set out in an interesting way that created a sense of Narcissa trying to excuse the acts that would have deplored her family.
If I were to change one thing, I would change the experiment. the detail didn't quite fit with the story's atmosphere.
If I were to change everything except one thing, I would keep the layout it really adds another dimension. I also really like the last underline. The oxymoron really finishes it off. It might of been better as a lingering statement at the end.
Over all very enticingly set out.
Although I am not convinced, the story it self got some marks.
| A J friends chapter 1 . 1/17/2011
"Don't even say it, Potter," Draco hissed, as the two walked away from the New London Library's bank of internet computers. They (Draco & Ron) were trying to figure out technology still, so Harry had brought them in to browse the stacks and try out the computers. With no real purpose for browsing, they had inevitably gravitated to Hermione's favorite website. Now, Harry was sorely wishing to use an Obliviate on himself, and he was sure Draco felt the same, while Ron was doing his damndest to remember they were in a Muggle library. "And if you don't cork it, Weasley, we're going to be chucked out on our ears."
"I can't help it," Ron wheezed, desperately backtracking their search to find something tamer to read. "The stuff with the boys just seems ... fated, now," he added, then buried his face in his sleeve to muffle his laugh.
Harry and Draco exchanged sorrowful smirks. "There, HE said it, I didn't," Harry said.
"Don't tell the girls," Draco muttered, shaking his head. "We'd never live it down."
"Er, you're forgetting who tells me about this site," Harry replied, while Ron went into the Men's loo to laugh unchecked. "Hermione keeps a secret about as well as Hagrid did."
"Swell," Draco cursed. "By this point, her, Ginny, and 'Stasia are probably laughing their heads off at us, and helping the two lovebirds pick out curtains."
"I don't think it's that bad yet," Harry grimaced. "They're only fourth-years."
"You didn't happen to see them over Valentine's," Draco told him. "Slipping away from their mates in Hogsmeade to meet up in Madame Puddimere's for tea-time." he shuddered.
"well, look at the bright side, Draco," Harry said. "At least there won't be any worry of kids." This was said just as a finally-recovered Ron came out, and he headed right back in with a smothered guffaw at it.
"Ever the optimist," Draco replied, rolling his eyes.
Er, yeah ... rather ... okay, THAT was totaly left field, Yellow, but good, nonetheless. Nice tackle on a strange shipping. Catch ya on the flipside, A J.

I don't think I've ever read a femslash fic before, and this was different from what I had expected! You really made this pairing believable, I wouldn't have thought I would think that before reading this! :D But you captured Narcissa's desperation and unhappiness, in an honest but sensitive way. And by writing it in that way, you really made me truly sympathise with Narcissa's situation. Thanks for such a moving story! :D

Woah... Interesting. I've never really read frmslash because I don't know anyone who cam pull it off. I actually liked it although it was sad at the end.

I really enjoyed reading this. It's an interesting pairing; I've never read a Narcissa x Lily fic before. Your writing is nice and clear, and everything flowed together really well. :D
