This was such a sad-sweet story. I suppose elegiac might be a good term for this. My favorite line is: "They don't see the boy here now, the child with alabaster skin and tears on his eye lashes." It's so...true and a beautiful way to describe Lelouch. The preceding phrase ("...know him only as...an inhuman being with no fears or desires beyond those contained to a battle field") especially helps to make this quote striking.
Porcelain skin to alabaster, hm? Both are pale white (unless the alabaster is the uncommon red/pink/orange/tan), but there IS a difference, so I find it slightly amusing how Lelouch, when he is less in control of himself, gains the "surprising" coloration of alabaster. A very pretty image, by the way.
Overall, I love the emotion you put into this. Great job!

This one-shot is very good. Though I admit a bit angsty as well. I wonder if you would make another one-shot in which Lelouch lives after R2 as he and C.C comment on each other.
