| Bessie chapter 1 . 1/28/2020
This is so very sad, but also beautiful. It's terrible that this happened to Joanna, but amazing that Kirk was able to help. I loved it.
| Mari Wollsch chapter 1 . 11/8/2015
super great xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
| Unseen Watcher chapter 1 . 6/23/2013
Cool. A scenario I never imagined but I'm glad he was there. He can be there for others like that. Very good.
| Banner chapter 1 . 10/9/2012
This is just perfect. It's a wonderful portrait of Jim and McCoy, and it really shows Joanna's strength. The ending is wonderful - it is strong and hopeful without being sappy.
This one goes in my "For a Bad Day" file.
| Willow-Bee the Cat chapter 1 . 10/11/2011
| Timme chapter 1 . 6/22/2011
She really comes across as a self pitying brat. Just, she has all the support in the world and she just lashes out at them. It's normal, but she's right, what she went through is Nothing compared to Jim. He didnt have help afterwards either. -shrugs- just could be a bit more grateful is all.
| frznlights chapter 1 . 5/29/2011
| Doni chapter 1 . 3/29/2011
Very nice. I like Jim trying to get her to help herself instead of just helping her himself. Well done.
| Kittendragon chapter 1 . 2/20/2011
That was really good. Very well done. :)
| Cassa-Andra chapter 1 . 1/31/2011
Wow - this is really touching.
| shoreleave chapter 1 . 1/16/2011
I really enjoyed this. Understated and stark, with just the right amount of angst. Well done!
| kaykayenoel chapter 1 . 1/16/2011
That was amazing. I really loved reading this. It was refreshing to see a story that wasn't a sappy romance. It was written beautifully. Awesome job!
| passionfornight chapter 1 . 1/15/2011
Fantastic one shot. This really isn't like something that has been done before, but it was really good. I like that Jim got to share something of himself with someone close to him, but not the usual suspects. It always helps when someone tells you what you can do; what you will do.
| Toadflame chapter 1 . 1/14/2011
OK, I'll be honest: reading this at midnight after playing Nerf while babysitting probably isn't the best idea I've ever had, so I apologize if this review makes no sense or is horrible.
So, you did a really awesome job on this. I love how Jim just relates to Jo instead of trying to "help" her. Especially Bones. I know he's trying to help, but hovering isn't going to help. And Jim is trying to help the only way he can-simply, just letting her figure it out on her own. And getting her to eat by sharing his story was the icing on the cake.
Thank you for a truly heartfelt story!
| Skreech chapter 1 . 1/14/2011
Wow. This is really heartfelt. I love it! How Kirk symphatizes and relates, not pity or whatever. Awesome.
