Still really enjoying this, I haven't read many Edwardian Edwards but this is different, sweet and sensuous.

This is so lovely, Edward is not as sexually innocent as usual so he knows exactly what he wants, but also loves Bella and desperately wants to treat her with proper respect. He knows that she feels for him also so things will have to change.

Still enjoying this, your Edward is dark but tries to maintain some of the standards of his humanity. He must be so lonely with no companionship at all. I presume that Isabella is working at the lodging house rather than staying as a guest. I'm wondering if her marriage was a happy one.

I started reading this story a looooong time ago and then sort of forgot to finish it when you started updating again. I just happened to be thinking about it the other day, and started over from the beginning. I'm so glad I did. I loved this story when I first read it and I still love it. You've managed to create a believable point of view from Edward's perspective (which many fail on) and I love that this was AU with touches of canon, but enough differences to keep it interesting and not run of the mill. Beautifully written as well. Thanks for sharing your story with us.

I absolutely loved this story! You did a great job with the pacing and the descriptions. I especially like how you started each chapter with a color. I think you got the feel of the time period perfectly. I don't know why, but I imagined Isabella with her hair done in a Gibson girl upswept hairdo. Edward is easy to place in the period - and you got his dialect down really well.

I would absolutely love to read another chapter of this story. Whether it be from Isabella's POV or an outtake from their future together.
