Every chapter of this story that I read makes me more and more curious. It's appropriately suspenseful, and keeps me reading as soon as it updates.

Real life is keeping me busy, so I haven't been keeping up with this. I finally have a chance, and it's good to see an update.

The idea that one timeline holds a very particularly malevolent Sephiroth who decided he wanted to have 'another Cloud' and decides to have the boy version - I'm with our Seph in this timeline, that was a really squicky thought.

Yet I like that you tossed that in, it shows just how really bad things can turn out.

I like the idea that this current timeline is actually the result of many jumps through a wormhole to try and fix the past, yet with every attempt no one has yet ever managed to find a way to 'fix' Sephiroth. As Zack said, they've found no future where Seph just doesn't go insane. Yet Cloud keeps trying anyway.

I still have a problem believing that Seph would have waited so long to play the disc all the way though until now, though I see why plot-wise you did that.

Now that Veld & the Turks have the disc, and have learned of the wormhole & the time-traveling that's been going on, I wonder how

this new variant will play out.

Looking forward to seeing more.

This story is really intrigring I hopr you update again soon.

This is one of the most unique time travel stories I've read. I like how you're telling this from sephiroth's POV rather than the time traveler's. It makes it a much more interesting read.

Does it mean Cloud became too close to the target to be able to carry out the assassination? I bet Sephiroth feels betrayed and used. Of course, if he has any cunning he'll figure out the possible reasons why Cloud got suspended from offing his person. Does Veld feel threatened by WH and this is why he offered this little piece of information or did he just wish to distract Sephiroth? The Turks always have an ulterior motive.

Oh boy! So much info. As for the last of this chapter, wow. I love that it was suspended then reassigned, owing to Cloud's emotions, I'm sure. Poor guy. All three of them, actually. Looking forward to the next chapter. This story just has all kinds of possibilities, doesn't it! .

This is not good.

I really feel bad for Sephiroth; he's got no clue what's going on and he's still a teenager who is still, really, a kid. He's falling in love, he's experiencing what being a SOLDIER is... and WH is trying to kill him.

I know what he did, how many he murdered, but that person, I think, no longer exists.

Your Zack makes me sad, because he's my favorite character and to even think that he lost hope breaks my heart and makes me want to curl in on myself. I love your Sephiroth and Cloud, as well as your Reeve. They are very much in character (well, for Sephiroth how I imagine his character would have been like as a teenager) and I'm fascinated by the science you've put into this.
