Great work as always! So I guess Zack has been sent to finish up what Cloud couldn't do. I wonder whether Cloud will fight Zack to try to protect Sephiroth. Omg! Can't wait for the next chapter.

It's taken me forever to read through this story, but I have to say that from the first chapter, I was very, very intrigued. The story is very complex and intelligent, as well as very, VERY well-written. I'm really, really curious as to what happens next. Awesome job.

Oh, ouch! Poor boy. That's a heck of a lot to come to terms with in such a short time! But somehow I don't get the feeling that he's about to breakdown anytime soon, even though this is practically the same as what set him off in Niebelham. I wonder what the difference is?

Oh God! That last part! The plot is FANTASTIC! And I loved the Reeve-Seph meeting, it totally felt like a science programme on the Discovery Channel! Thanks for a great update ;D

Well that would make sense, if Zack was having a go at Cloud because he was meant to have killed Sephiroth in this present and shacked up with him instead.

Your explanations are very thorough. Hopefully Sephy confronts Cloud about this, would make for an interesting encounter. The secrecy can only hold so long before it gets frustrating.

Ah, that makes A LOT of sense. I figured Cloud was sent to do something, but I wasn't sure exactly what. Looks like he was sent into the past to kill Sephiroth, eh? That explains why he acted with such violence in the beginning and why Seph felt Cloud had tried to kill him. It's all very complicated, I know, and especially for Cloud. He's involved with the past Sephiroth. It can't be easy for him and I figured he distanced himself for more than one reason. I don't think Sephiroth realizes how complicated and difficult this is for Cloud, but he's starting to figure out that more is at work here than he knows. Poor guy. Makes you want to root for Cloud and Sephiroth even more. Especially Sephiroth.

Also kind of explains why Zack has jumped into the past to try and kill Sephiroth.

Zack said something about Cloud trying to save Sephiroth many times before and that it always failed. I am curious about that. I'm sure by now that Cloud sees Sephiroth as more than just a monster. He sees him as a person and that makes his mission all the more harder. It's easier to kill something than to kill someone. If you find common ground with someone, it's even harder to kill them, especially if you have feelings connected to them. To him, Seph was his idol, then a madman/monster, and now a person. He probably still sees all of these things and at times he has to remember which Sephiroth he's with. Perhaps all the times he's traveled in the past he's run into a young Seph and realized that his idol, his monster, was human just like him. A person with feelings, flaws, and emotions.

Good update and as always, I shall keep an eye out for more. ;)
