omg, this is amazing. I loved the description of their bodies lying together and the steady heartbeat that lulls her to sleep. That is one of the most romantic notions that I loved about this fic. One paragraph also caught my eye, (and I’m sorry that I have to paste the whole thing)"She loves him. Admitting it makes it almost inconceivably better. She loves him, more than it is possible to believe. Despite this, she doubts herself. He has adored her for longer than he cares to admit, and she worries that, perhaps, she is merely mirroring him. Is the love she feels nothing more than a projection of his, or is it her own? It may be nothing more than a bubble formed between and around them as they ricochet feelings off each other. She dares not ask herself for the truth. They are both too fragile, and too afraid to find out.” That is also a very brilliant observation of the characters and real life. and omg, the ending is so sad and so brilliant. I love how she will always wander back to pilot’s den to cry and the ghost of a love with always be there…oh, and despite the fact that you felt that it didn’t sound right, it was amazing and drifting between third and first person was barely noticeable…I don’t think I would’ve known if you hadnt mentioned it. It kept drawing me into it. WONDERFUL STORY!:)

Once again, a piece of almost heart-breaking proportions. Poignant, touching, bitter-sweet throughout, beautiful in places, desperately sad in others. You have to stop writing these angsty Aeryn stories, I feel so bad for her!
