I hope it slows down a bit as Harry gets older; some of the key points to your Harry's development (his sense of self-preservation, his interest/ability in the Dark Arts, his relationships with his House, etc.) are being stated rather than demonstrated... Still, looking forward to reading more. |

| Voldy's pink teddy chapter 3 . 1/21/2011 Ooh, Harry is chilling at the end of this chapter. I wonder what he'll do with the stone. His character is just so haunting. He's not as disturbed as Voldemort was at this age, but it still worries me that he thinks of a nightmare spell as a minor curse. I guess it might be, considering some of the torture curses that are probably out there, but that's still a cold assessment for an eleven year old. You’re welcome. Nonetheless, I wasn't trying to scold you. I don't usually go the whole nine yards and do strict MLA citation on this site, but it never hurts to acknowledge the author of a quote, even if he is long dead. For one thing, those lines from Paradise Lost are so awesome that people should know which story they come from so they can read it if they want to. I just read Paradise Lost and its sequel Paradise Regained over the summer, and I enjoyed them both immensely. I was kind of surprised that I liked them so much, actually, since I’m an atheist. Ironic, isn’t it? Anyway, wonderful two chapters. I’m looking forward to another update. |
