Y'know I'll tell you something. I've had this story favorited since 2013. It's 2019 rn and I *still* think about it and have this moment where whenever I get back into Harry Potter all i want to do is go back and reread it because it's that good and every time I'm always left wanting more because I *know* what's going to happen in the seventh book and I know that it's going to kill me. The first time I read this I remember going "oh shit Zoey's gonna give up half her soul to bring Fred back" the moment that you revealed that that was a thing that was going to happen and aaaaaaaaaaaahhh. It's great. It's fantastic. I love how all of your OCs interact with the Hogwarts crew and I love how stellar your characterization is and just everything about it. It's fantastic. The reveals and plot points always hit me, and even the cheesier stuff just makes me so happy. Ah! It's great. Anyway, I hope you're doing alright and stuff. You're great :)

Okay I just have to tell you that this is probably my favorite Harry Potter fanfiction ever. I keep coming back and re-reading it because it's just so damn good that I want to cry. It's mostly in long intervals, but I'll be minding my own business and suddenly my brain will go, "you know what you haven't read in a while? Crossroads. Read it. Read it now and relive the agony."

So that's what I do. I re-read this entire thing and it takes me like three days and during those three days I literally just read this and hold back any and all stupid expressions on my face.

I recced this fic to my friend literally yesterday, because this fic has all of my favorite tropes in it: Childhood friends to lovers, mutual pining, and the agonizingly slow burn. Seriously that burn is brutally slow. Fred and Zoey only kiss in chapter 68 or 69? Out of 89? Why would you do that it's so painful to read? I am sitting at my screen biting back the screams of "just kiss already you stupid losers oh my god."

I am getting off topic.

What I am trying to say is that this fanfiction holds a really special place in my heart, and I cannot tell you how excited I was when I last read this (about two years ago?) to find that there was a new chapter. And a stupidly cute one at that.

I also really like how the characters are their own people, and have their own backstories and connections and aren't just flimsy two-dimensional characters created for the sake of being there. It's kind of refreshing compared to other OC insert stories that I've seen written (especially OC insert stories from 2011. 2011-2013 was a dark time, dude). Zoey is just such a sweetheart and I love her so much. She is my sweet cinnamon daughter that doesn't deserve the hand she was dealt. Echo is wonderful and she's the kind of girl that could punch me in the face and I would thank her. Honestly. And Bridgit seems like such a cool friend. I would love to be friends with her. I'd love to be friends with all of them. They're all so wonderful and I love them so much, like? Honestly? (Also, this fanfiction was the entire reason that I fell in love with the Weasley twins tbh. Curse you for giving me new favorite characters.)

And one more thing: I know what's coming. I've known what's coming for years. Ever since Zoey's gift was revealed. I KNOW THAT IT'S COMING AND IT'S GOING TO BE SUPER PAINFUL AND I WILL PROBABLY CRY BUT DEAR LORD. IT'S GOING TO BE SO HEARTBREAKING. WHY DO YOU DO THIS.

I love you and your story a lot, and I wish you luck with writing/balancing your life. Lord knows how difficult that can be. :)

I just don't get why her friends would suddenly hate her for knowing who she was. I mean they are the ones who went through her belongings. If I were Zoey ide be more pissed at them. And it brings to mind another question. The marauder's map would have her full last name on it so they should have already found out.

Ok so I love the story but some of these facts aren't correct. Siriuswas in Azkaban for only 12 years. And Fred would not punch a girl in the face. That was so unrealistic that it hurt to read it.

Absolutely amazing story! I haven't stopped reading it for the past week! It's so refreshing to read a story that follows the plotline as well as engage herself in her own story. It's wonderful!
