Always a pleasure to visit your insights into an episode, with a little extra bloodshed for fun!

awesome as always :)
| Micaiah chapter 1 . 1/25/2011
Very nice transition from Dark Side of the Moon to 99 Problems. I always wondered how they got into that situation. This fits very well. And we are all yearning for the return of that amulet. :)

I loved it! Thanks for writing. You always come up with really original situations. I never would have thought of this to follow that episode. Terrific :-)
enjoy the next new episode in a few days. I hope you still watch? I have found most of this season a bummer for obvious reasons...but looking forward to Friday :-) I missed Sammy.
| BlueSea14 chapter 1 . 1/25/2011
I love the way you wrapped up this episode in a manner that tied up random loose strings that were left dangling. I especially like the way the boys reached a kind of understanding, which I so sorely missed at the end of the episode.

Ah, such awesomeness! :D Loved it, loved it, loved it! Just great the way you articulated Dean's being dead inside and slowly slipping back to normal. My chest was tight the whole time. :)

I liked the action in this one, very tensing and gripping. But mostly I enjoyed Sam's loyalty to Dean, and the brothers reaching an understanding in the end.

Oh, that totally worked! I don't think you have anything to worry about - of course, I don't know what you had to change, either, but it wasn't what I was expecting. But then, you have a habit of doing that to me with your fic!
Lovely job - I think you caught the state of Dean's emotions (or rather, lack of them) just perfectly after the encounter with Famine, and the fallout of that along with the events of DotM. You're breaking my heart here - that boy needs a hug... But it was nice to see him coming back to life by the end of the story.
If only we could get them to this point in canon...*sigh*
| Lujayn chapter 1 . 1/25/2011
Awesome tag! I loved how you expressed Dean's emotions, how he felt numb about everything but then it all came back. Loved that Sam never left him and him saying that he was never going to leave Dean was poignant. I was excited to see the amulet! I just wish the show would resolve the issue with the amulet. Lol, I'm yapping so I just want to say that I really enjoyed reading this tag:D

Great description of Dean's utter emptiness after the revelations he'd seen and the discomfort of their relationship afterwards.
Great to have him realise that yes, after all, he does still care.
And so great to have the amulet back. I am really hoping it will feature in a similar way with the newly restored soulfulSam in the show.
So succinctly, effectively written.
| SophieSaulie chapter 1 . 1/25/2011
Great story. So poignant! So faith restoring! I LOVED your angle from Sam that they were trying to split them up that the views they had in heaven were manufactured to divide them. It makes perfect sense. I LOVE that Sam doesn't leave Dean either. Wonderful stuff!
Dean's own chest tightened in a way that had nothing to do with the demon's hold. He could see his brother's panic, the terror at the thought of ingesting demon blood again. Withdrawal had nearly done them both in last time, one of the worst things Dean had ever been through, or watched his brother go through.
But Sam wasn't walking away and taking the easy way out.
Dean thawed a little at the indecision in Sam's eyes. The fact he was thinking about this at all, not just ducking out while he had the chance, filled some of the hollowness inside Dean.
And made him hurt again.
He met Sam's eyes directly and openly for the first time that day. "It's okay, Sam, just go."
Sam's mouth set stubbornly. "I'm not leaving you here, Dean."
"Yes, you are." There was an echo to another place and time, another desperate situation, Dean again telling his brother to let him go. Death they could and had dealt with. Sam pumped up on tainted blood was a whole bucket of worse. "You can't stay, you know that. I'll be okay. Got an angel in my corner, too, right?" He twisted up the corner of his lips for the sake of his brother.
Sam's expression was raw. "Dean…"
"That wasn't my Heaven," Sam continued urgently. "Not anymore than…Mom fighting with Dad was yours. They're trying to split us up, man—can't you see that?"
Dean's eyes cut to the headlights in the mirror, then back to the road. No cop around when you needed one, of course, not that a cop would slow a truck full of demons down very much.
That wasn't my Heaven. He was trying not to hear the words, to think. They're trying to split us up.
I'm not walking out on you. Not ever.

I think this is my favorite Dark Side of the Moon tag that I've read. And touched on all the issues that bothered me about that episode! Lovely job!
| SunnyZim chapter 1 . 1/25/2011
AW, I want more of this in the show! Dark Side of the Moon was such a SAD episode and there were so many loose ends left that were never dealt with, like the amulet and how Sam's heaven could possibly not include Dean. This dealt with those perfectly and I desperately hope that the show will deal with at least one of these issues eventually as well (namely the amulet!) Great job, as always, K Hanna!:-)
| Brightshadow-chi chapter 1 . 1/25/2011
great tag to the episode, it was one of those episode I never wanted to watch again, and Dean throwing away the amulet was like an end to everything. glad that someone finally bring the precious object back, and made everything alright in just the right way.
