I'm kinda suprised Harry didn't lash out at fan with his claws...*chough* nails...and hissed at him.

Even -I- would have hissed at him. (...okay growled. And I may not count as human. )

But Fang IS a big coward, and you'd have the typical overeager dog whimpering in submission before the nobel and clearly superior cat, wondering why his friendlyness was so cruely rejected -and somehow the cat manage to spin it into the humans taking the cat's side, as the poor little thing was so, SO clearly frightened. (While giving the dog a smug smirk behind his human's back. Cats are sneaky that way.)

Why Isis and not Bast.

Considering Bast IS the godess Protector of Households and takes on the shape of a cat. (As the cats were considered the protectors of the household -possibly for their asociation with said godess.)

While Isis was -as far as I know- not particularly connected to cats. Or the household. Only to motherhood and fertility.

(Tho I admit I am no expert on her. I am FAR more familiar wit Bast, Set, Osiris to a degree, and...ah, Hathor. Possibly a few others I'm forgetting on the top of my head too. Lol)

Why does he accept Ron as a friend? It makes NO sense!

Neville I could understand...and just about anyone else trustworthy. (As Kneezles dislike people who aren't trustworthy.)

But Ron is neither trustworthy, NOR loyal. And an ass to Ginny, his chosen human. By any logic he should have DESPISED him. (And also attacked his rat -pure instinct.)

Also... Harry has GOT to be THE most OBEDIENT cat I have EVER seen!

It's one thing to adapt to social rules -an inteligent Kneezle like him coukd understand the value of a good disguise.

But why would he not tell anyone what he is? The law is arbitrary, makes NO sense, and is -in fact- not even a law, just something dumbledore told him to do.

And to this day I have NEVER met a cat who does what you TELL them to do.

Most actually go to great lengths to dissobay.

He may not have felt humans WORTHY enough to know his great secret... but he WOULD deem his chosen human worthy of it -if no one else.

And Harry's going to discover he's been lied to (I guess his Kneezle senses was too dimmed to tell before), when he sees MCGonnigal transform to a cat the very first lesson she has.

That's going to be interesting...

Cuz it's VERY similar -albeith not quite to the point the main cat/character have the option to plot world domination or help his owner succeed as a musician. Lol

why do you have people scream "yeah" when they're surprised or scared instead of "ah"? it took me this long to figure out that's what it was, all the times before now I was really confused and thought it was a typo.

Copying canon so closely after all the early changes felt EXTREMELY like forced author fiat.

If you're going to make a massive early change, don't be lazy about where it goes after that, it just feels arbitrary and contrived when you shove it back onto the railroad of stations of canon.

Twins plus T Riddle disaster.
In canon, there's an edge of maliciousness to the twins, and they seem callous to the effects of stuffing Montague in a potentially faulty vanishing cabinet with an unknown destination.
Some (many!) great lines, and I love Harry's unique point of view. Cats are ruthless, and kneazles add intelligence to the mix. Mix that with Harry Potter and it's a cracking story.
