![]() ![]() ![]() Wonderful! :) Love how you tied in the ending with the beginning and all of the cultural tidbits. Reminded me a lot of Japan, I haven't been to enough bars here to make a comparison, but do like the teri beef lunch plates, spam musubi...not so much. Nicely done. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wwwwooooowwww. Boiled toxic waste jimmy Hoffa peanuts. Enjoyed ! |
![]() ![]() ![]() nothing beats fresh ahi wasabi sashimi! Funny story:) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Lovely banter. And a great introduction to Hawaiian food. I can relate to Danny, this wouldn't be for me. The fact that he takes off his tie is a great thing, and I laughed at the tie pool. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh! This was such a nice surprise! Gorgeous writing! Such great description and atmosphere! Did make me a little hungry for sashimi (and sad that soy gives me migraines so I have to enjoy those edamame vicariously.) I love that there was a tie bet. The characterization was effortlessly convincing and your original character read spot on for the scene. A really lovely short story! |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is so funny! I get the same reaction from people when I serve steamed edamame. Local foods are always an adventure! You did a great job with the banter-and I especially like the "Tie Pool." Danny's right-those "welcome cats" are everywhere! |
