While is true there are no ‘male’ Harpies in mythology, the son of a Veela, who is a Harpy will be a Veela's son. JR's creatures are from mythology, and in the movies all the Beaux Batôns students were females. By the way, Beaux Batôns in the books had male students; but nothing much was said about them. And this is a fantasy story, not a Greek Mythology.
