![]() ![]() ![]() I'm so glad the brain damage that causes teen angst for no apparent reason is gone by the mid 20s. Well, I survived it and now I just need to survive my kids' teens and early twenties. It's a well written story that peaks into the terrifying place that is the mind of on an intelligent, perfectionist, 16 year old girl. |
![]() ![]() ![]() A curious tale that leaves more questions unanswered, but it was still enjoyable to read. Thanks for writing and sharing it! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hermione’s the poor kid who is a born perfectionist, one who doesn’t know how to stop her thoughts from spiralling. I think many of us have been there. Great writing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I really detest how arrogant Hermione is. Clearly she has NO idea how to use Occams Razor to think about problems and how to solve them. She also has NO Street skills, or survival skills or Life skills like Harry does. Hermione insists on making everything into an academic problem when it really does not need to be. Occams Razor for those who dont know is this - the simplest explanation is usually the best one. Harry's explanation turnes out to be the right one. Jimmy - to jimmy the doors - also comes from James - Harrys middle name is James. I bet you anything that Harry set this up in the first place. The first time he has let any sign of his intelligence out to play. The Twins have gone now so he is the only "marauder" left. Now he gets day off to relax while Hermione uses her skills to solve the riddles but then she is just totally clueless as to how use the clue! If she had any kind of street skills, jimmying the door with a credit card should have been the very FIRST thing she ever did! It really irritates me how Hermione holds her high intelligence over Harry to make herself look better. She is nothing more than a bully like Draco is, when she does that. |
![]() ![]() Nice little story. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I never seemed to have thought that Hermione mind process would be so messed up. a new insight anyway |
![]() ![]() You’re amazing at writing Hermione. |
![]() ![]() Whenever Ron called Hermione mental in canon, I never understoodwhy, but your fics seem to have detailed the way Hermione operated, in a brilliant way, imo. You're a really good writer, I just wished you had more fics with involving Hermione, in particular with Harry, because you write her so well. |
![]() ![]() ![]() An interesting insight into her mind... I rather like this Hermione, although I picture her as a bit less chaotic in her own head. But this was a really fun story! |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was a lovely start to my day. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Inspiring. |
![]() ![]() ![]() A very intriguing character study. Frankly I still don't know what it all means but that's not the point. Brilliant work. |
![]() ![]() ![]() this was perfect. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Poor little Hermione. I'm amazed she still has hair after a torturous day like that. And with Harry just sitting there with her the whole day. Yet again those two manage to be adorable even when nothing is happening between them. Loved how you flitted back and forth between her past and the door. I've always been intensely curious about Hermione's childhood. It's the only one that really gets no exploration in the books. We are always at the Burrow and with the Weasleys or Dursleys that her history gets neglected so I always enjoy seeing it explored in fanfics. |
