Reviews for Snapshots from Eternity
Coco Solo chapter 2 . 11/24/2014
A lot of people depict Q as hating worship or having contempt for religious people. This is something I disagree on frankly when you consider Q's power how flamboyant he is with them, and his tendency to want to 'troll' mortals he's probably been worked into the pantheon of so many cultures that if it bothered him along time ago, it probably slides off him like water on a sleek surface by the time we get to know him. I say this based on the joke he made when Vash reminded him that on some planet I forgot the name of they called him the god of lies. I can see him not taking an interest in mortals that would worship him versus those that would argue and resist him e.i Picard, I can also see him having content for energy beings who eagerly assume the role of gods...You have to wonder what he thinks about the Bajoran Prophets, although to be fair they never explicitly propped themselves up to be gods. They just seem to genuinely want to help Bajor.
Coco Solo chapter 4 . 11/24/2014
Oh man this made me shudder I remember a long time ago, I read another one of your stories that had you particular brand of Q sex, which fascinates me utterly by the way...and I mentioned that something along the lines of how awful Q rape would be since, you couldn't hide all the parts of yourself you were ashamed to show others, and that they can implant ideas and opinions in your mind that you loathe. Well I hadn't read this at the time, but this is something like what I imagined. This is chilling you can almost argue that if such a thing were real, it would be worse then physical rape, seeing as you don't even have a happy place to got to, NOT that real rape isn't horrid, but I think you know what I mean.

I LOVE YOUR WRITING!
The Middle Warner Sibling chapter 5 . 10/6/2013
I really, really enjoyed this, all five chapters I'm actually amazed that it doesn't have more reviews. While short, these five 'stories' are actually better than most of the actual Star Trek novels; to be honest, it's actually better than several of the episodes and movies. Q has always been one of my favorite characters in Star Trek, and it's hard to find well-written stories about him. You write him and his various adventures and thoughts really well, I loved story two, four, and five. I have no idea if you plan on updating this with more stories, but if you do, know you've got at least one fan.
hermione-of-vulcan chapter 5 . 5/13/2013
A very interesting character study, and a perfect analysis of one of my favorite episodes! Very good!
Deritine chapter 2 . 2/16/2011
This story rather made my head hurt... but it wasn't really a story, per se, so I suppose that works fine.
Deritine chapter 1 . 2/16/2011
"If the Continuum hadn't intervened, he wouldn't have a bet he couldn't work around to deal with." This sentence doesn't make sense.
StarsMagicAndMonsters chapter 3 . 2/14/2011
Isn't it fun, writing around the fact that both the characters in the dialogue have THE SAME NAME?

I sometimes want to kill myself for doing it in my novel.

(what I really want to say):

YOU'RE AN AMAZING WRITER! TEACH ME YOUR WAYS, OH ENLIGHTENED ONE!

...

Needless to say (though I'll say it anyway, since I'm cool like that) great job.
